Rather long but my letter to my welsh assembly members today.

I am dismayed at the news this morning that the Welsh Assembly is
planning to ban the use of e cigarettes in public places. Even more
concerning is the fact that you are going against all the scientific
evidence that is available, the opinions of the leading cancer charity,
the anti smoking lobby group and 79% of the participants in your public
consultation on this matter.

I am not advocating that vaping (it is not smoking and shouldn't be
referred to as such) be universally allowed in all premises, it should
be the decision of the individual business. 

This ban will now force non smokers (as that is what vapers are) to
have to vape outside premises where vaping has up to now been
permitted. This puts them back amongst tobacco smokers, this in all
likelihood would see a great number reverting to tobacco smoking, if
they are going to have to smell like a tobacco smoker, they may as well
be one, if they are going to inhale 2nd hand smoke, they may as well
smoke - were these reasons for the smoking ban in the first place,
protecting people from 2nd hand smoke? Your policy appears to be
subjecting more non smokers to this known harm.

The people that have done what public health have been telling them
they should do for years (give up smoking) are now being forced back in
to a smoking environment, Un doing all the health benefits that their
vaping and giving up smoking has done. The health benefits that I may
add, have come at no cost to the Welsh NHS, this is a smoking cessation
aid that people pay for themselves, which saves the NHS time and money.

On the issue of ignoring 79% of the participants in your public
consultation,  can I ask three questions, firstly how much did this
process cost for you to just ignore the results? Secondly what was the
point of consulting the public if you go on to ignore the overwhelming
majority? Thirdly, and more critically, were you always going to ignore
the results as you had a preconceived policy and were just doing the
consultation to appease the public.

As already stated, I am extremely dismayed at today's decision and
would request that you look again at the scientific evidence and make
policies based on this evidence rather than the increasing propaganda
that seems to surround e cigarettes at this time. Legislation and
policy making without evidence engenders distrust in public health
policies and governments in general, this distrust I will certainly be
making clear in my vote in the Welsh Assembly elections next year.

I don't have anything to compare it to as I hadn't tried theirs before, I like my flavours strong but 20% in my subtank has ripped my throat out, I need to try it in another tank to get a better idea.

Wow, big doff of the cap to vampire vapes, my new bottle of black jack concentrate has just arrived but it wasn't alone
