The problems for me were twofold 1) It looks like a baboon to me, not a monkey, but more importantly 2) Where is the mother (the reason it chases the piglet is that it needs something to cling to for comfort).
Now I can't say for sure how the poor thing came to be in that situation, but.. Not against eating animals but definitely against baby wild animals being taken for pets. Adult baboons make very uncute pets. It looks like a tragedy in the making.

You should at least get a hissing sound if the ends of the wick are wet. If they're not, just tilt it to bring the wick in contact with the juice.
The other more likely possibility is that you're not getting an electrical connection between the LT and the coil. If it was a battery I'd say try carefully lifting the centre pin a bit, but if you have the same 510/Ego adapter as me the centre pin is fixed. This means you have to fiddle around trying to get a clean connection, check also that the connector well isn't flooded with juice.
Third possibility is a duff coil, try testing it on a Riva/Ego battery without adapter to eliminate this as a reason. You may have to lift the centre pin by gently levering it up a mm or so.

That's my sales pitch, Anne, I've never been any good at sales.
Now that my tastebuds work again I'm super picky about juices. I'm prettyy sure I wouldn't like it, because there are very few juices I can even get through 30ml, and they are fruit flavours.

7 min 15 It's a classic, but TW RL Virginia is really, really gorgeous and lovely, I've heard.

Thanks. The main problem is it's a limited market, but for someone who can use 500ml I think it's a fair swap. Maybe someone in the trade, I hope/expect. I reckon a clever buyer could shave it to about £40 cost. Worth a try anyway. Now 500ml of crab jiuice..

Jason, whatever you do, for goodness sake don't put Strawberry Ice Cream or Apples & Pears on offer next weekend.
*twirls moustache, cackles* Bound to work..

I accidentally won one of these www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/totally-wicked-eliquid/500ml-totally-wicked-electric-cigarette-2-product.html500ml 18mg Totally Wicked Red Label Virginia, Chip compliant, childproof cap, boxed and still foil sealed. From googling it seems to be a well-regarded medium tobacco flavour. I don't vape tobacco flavours so I'd like to swap it for something I can use (I have permission from the kind person who donated it). It might suit someone who runs a stall or shop giving out freebies, or someone who really likes TW RL Virginia a lot, or someone with a nicotine-themed swimming pool. In a perfect world I'd like something costing roughly 1/3 of its retail value, namely a Lavatube kit or similar, which I have been eyeing up for a while. I will consider other reasonable offers but not a juice swap. Call it £45 worth of swap, that's 9p per ml or £2.70 per 30ml, which is cheap for quality juice. I will pay postage from my end. Please post below or PM for privacy if you're interested. Thanks.

Hmm, by 'an ex rollie smoker' I presume you mean 'a shiny gadget freak with a credit card'. ???

Welcome Celia,
There are many ex heavy smokers here, and all of them started off confused.
Take a few days finding the right kit. Obviously you'll need batteries heavy enough to last you all day, and you might need more than one charger, or a car charger, if you don't have opportunities to recharge during the day. You can get mains plugs for USB chargers. All this stuff is available for less than you spend on fags.
Cig-a-likes in general are a bit frowned upon - they're relatively more expensive and don't usually deliver. There are better alternatives for most people, so it's a good idea to upgrade.
But part of the price of dumping combustion products (tar etc) is a certain amount of faff, which can be controlled but not eliminated. Vaping does not match the convenience of buying packs of twenty fags.
Nothing is stopping you from continuing to smoke analogues while you try vaping more seriously. At times when it's not convenient to vape, smoke instead, you've still reduced harm and saved money. It's all good.
I personally prefer vaping anyway, so I don't bother to smoke now. I believe the main secret to this was ensuring that I got enough nicotine through at the beginning - this is a matter of getting the right kit and juice. Now I've reduced the nic a bit.
Final thing is, it's a journey and you'll have questions and some problems along the way (like tastebuds going wild for a bit as they recover), so stick around, explain what you're up to and ask for help if you want it and you'll be helping other newcomers.

The Wire is the best TV series ever made.
I quite like Dexter and 24 tho.

Because of the kindness of the people in this thread sharing their knowledge I can now confirm that even an idiot can rebuild an EVS.
I have 3 ohms (Perpy likes to know these things) and smoke is only coming out of one end, although I haven't tried the ecig yet.
It's vaping fine.
Thanks people.

Just on the cost thing, I think it's quite easy for the average vaper to get away with £12 a week in the long run. Let's say you get through 3ml a day, you replace 2 batteries every six months and buy a packet of new cartos a month. None of these are outrageous assumptions. Worst case 90ml juice = £35/month battery £12 x 2 per 6 months = £4/month cartos = £6/month Total = £45/month + P&P = £12 a week. And you could easily reduce these costs a bit by shopping around. Compare to the cost of tobacco. I'm assuming a perfect world in which you are not a shiny gadget freak, so your mileage may vary.

The mesh is an alternative wicking material, if you oxidise the surface to prevent it from conducting.
I don't think Dee will mind, I'm pretty random and she seemed happy enough to get rid of it, you can ask anyway.
