OK Should I be worried? Do I need to seek professional help? There are 7 or 8 flavours there that I would buy

I really don't see an issue here, to be honest, assuming the plating is done correctly. The person linked to on Facebook had sanded it down - had they not? Sand a condom down and you are asking for trouble Or am I missing something? (wouldn't be the first time ) I think the original issue was the plating coming away from the nautilus chimney made people look at what they are using in their 'all stainless steel construction' A mate of mine is in the plating industry He has a nautilus and told me that they have used 'beauty' chrome not 'engineering' chrome. (I am sure it makes sense to someone) apparently it means it is plated on the cheap. Now this worries me for 2 reasons. Firstly: Where is all the flakes of Chromium going and what about the chemistry that will be under it? (Sulphuric acid and associated nasties) Secondly: Brass isn't the best alloy to have in contact with your juice. It will almost certainly contain lead and I bet next month's mortgage payment that they didn't use DZR Brass (Corrosion resistant). The final moan I will have is that they advertise the nautilus as all stainless steel then chuck a cheap bit of chromed brass in it. So if a UK company pulled that what would happen to them? I was all lined up to buy me a Nautilus but I aint buying one now. That's my choice but as I have said there are reasons and I am sure that many people will continue to buy and enjoy these but I wont be one of them

@ukflavours Vanilla custard is most like The Perfumers Apprentice Vanilla Custard. but many (including myself) feel that TPA Custard and Capella Custard are interchangeable.
If I am following a recipe that calls for TPA Custard or Capella Custard I use UK Flavours at the same strength. They also have a triple strength custard so if you use this you will need to reduce the amount used.

I have tried the UK Flavours French Vanilla but somehow it just isn't the same as the Delux. It seems like it is less creamy, more vanilla if that makes any sense. It doesn't contain any Acetoin or Acetylpropionyl which French Vanilla Deluxe does, so that will make the difference rughead121 . . . you could try adding 1% or 2% Vanillin to compensate for a more creamy taste though. Oh no..... More to buy icon_shoppingm. Isn't Vanillin crystals not liquid? or cam you buy them mixed?

If you check the pay it forward thread in the classifieds i have some french cream concentrate up for grabs (amongst some other stuff). I can't vouch for if it tastes like ddl as i've never tried it. Also uk flavours do a french vanilla concentrate in the normal strength. I've made a version of custardy lovechild using their concentrates, it's pretty yummy so far but i'm trying to let it steep for a while longer. Emphasis on the 'trying' lol Thanks for that I have tried the UK Flavours French Vanilla but somehow it just isn't the same as the Delux. It seems like it is less creamy, more vanilla if that makes any sense. I will have a scout around now and see if I have anything I can offer up for the pay it forward

rughead121 Our French Cream is pretty much on par to Dulce de Leche if that helps. I will make a note of the delux and see what I can come up with You mix sounds yummy too as i am also an avid custard fan myself @ukflavours Damn. You realise that I am going to have to order that now icon_shoppingm Ahhh I am sure my kids won't mind if Santa is a bit stingy this year

OK I know there is a thread kicking around somewhere about @ukflavours Vanilla Custard Triple concentrate but I can't find it in my dazed and confused state. I just thought I would share this mix. with the custard lovers. It's not really new but it does use the triple concentrate. And it's bloody gorgeous Mixed at 75/25 VG/PG 12mg Nic UK Flavours Vanilla Custard Triple Concentrate 10% Perfumers Apprentice Dulce de Leche 3% UK Flavours Sweetener 1% Steep for 3 weeks. I might try adding a spot of French vanilla delux just to try but its pretty darn good as it is. Pity @ukflavours dont do Dulce de leche and French vanilla Deluxe Sarah would make even more out of me

Oh My Goodness!!! Virtual Vape Your coils are Bloody good. I ordered a couple from you just to try. I am a cynical old git so I didn't quite believe the hype Within 24 hours of trying one with some Grants custard I have ordered more. I wish I had listened to others now. Could have saved some postage Seriously

I think the key is if they are water soluble then they are safe (ish). Oil based is a no no Alcohol based is debatable. Do you really need to add colourings? Thanks for the replies. I dont really (need) to add colourings, just thought It'd be different I've bought coloured juice red/blue/green from vendors in the past, and wondered if it was something special or just food colouring. I would imagine it's just colouring. It isn't wrong to want to do something different and if you are happy to do it then just go for it. My personal view is if you don't need it then it's pointless risking it. Just my POV

I tried it thin my VG ages ago but I felt it added a unwanted taste to the juice. Best way to find out is give it a try in a small batch Yep I think I will have a go and see.
