I don't contribute much here...simply 'cos I only mix/vape NETs. Any Tobacco Vapers who want to 'get' what I'm on about:- 1. Get a 5g. sample of Mac Baren's 'Old Dark Fired' pipe baccy from www.smoke-king.co.uk (Tell 'em I sent ya!!..  ) 2. Put it in jar (cleaned out fish paste jars RULE!!) 3. Cover in PG (the 'Baccy, not the Jar!!) 4. Forget about it for 4-6 weeks. 5. Pour the 'Baccy/Tincture thru' a tea-strainer into another jar. 6. Put the 'wet' 'baccy into a food-grade plastic bag, pierce a hole in it & squeeze out rest of tincture. 7. Pour Tinture thru' coffee filter paper into yet another jar. 8. Further filtration thru' cotton wool in syringe...if You can be arsed! 9.Leave this concentrate for a week, say. 10. Use at 30% in Your preferred mix. 11. Let it sit ('steep' if You must!.. ) 12. Vape it! If You don't agree that this is about the best 'baccy vape You've ever had......I envy You, 'cos You've managed to forget wot tobacco tastes like & it now has NO hold on You at all!!!! |

...Update:- managed to 'interference fit' (!) a 510/ego beauty ring over the plastic that sits down in the chamber..too lazy to tap a thread!!! Dunno if all this p***ing about is warranted but I'm enjoying the vape!! |

Actually, I'd be interested to learn if there's any actual advantage to using 'fancy' coils wiv mesh/rope?...
I ask 'cos I've stopped using Ribbon to coil wiv...My NETs just make it too difficult to get the wicks removed!
Back on bog-standard 26g. Kanthal, haven't ventured into TC territory yet..........(Hope this ain't OT..!)

My Kraken's also on Rope & Ribbon but Mesh & Kanthal will work just as good imo. My 1st goes were wire & mesh; I only bought the R&R when the Origens arrived!

Well, I've just got back home...to find My 2nd DVP-50 waiting for Me.
Did any of You return a silver one to GB?..'cos I reckon this is a return!! The 510 is pissed...nothing screws in straight & the allen bolts are already mangled! Still, it fires so it's My new work knockabout! Can't really moan for a Tenner......
