Great to have a contribution from a "fairly newbie, but with experience" vaper, Ken And it's good advice about atties but I didn't mention it because at least with Riva/Tornado you get 2, so Bucko's inclusive price wouldn't have to be exceeded to have a decent starting outfit scylla Yep as Scylla says I am a relative newbie and probably should have mentioned that. I am now on day 80. I first started with a 510, and found the transition from being a tobacco smoker for 50 years to becoming a vaper extremely easy. I also am a person who said that I would never stop smoking. I will leave anything further to the more experienced members. Ken.

I think that is a good strategy Julian. As you say, £6.75 is a very low entry price. Good luck to you Julian Anything that gets people more aware of the healthier option of e cigs is good in my book. Ken.

Hey, just found this forum and think it is awesome. My wife and I have used a few different cheap generic throw away e-cigs and they have worked with varying degrees of success. I am now looking to purchase a quality e-cig to smoke full time and do away with the regular cigarettes for good! I've been searching the forum and just wondered what you guys think would be the best starter kit for me. I would like to refill my own juice rather than buying the prefilled cartridges in order to save money, just wondering what you guys recommend, it looked as though the 510 was quite popular. Please forgive me, as I have had a little trouble understanding some of the terminology used here, hopefully as I get into this more I will understand better! Thanks in advance for any feedback! Hi Maturk, Welcome to the forum You are right, this forum is awesome thanks to Chrissie, her loyal band of moderators and of course a helpful bunch of members. Bucky and Scylla have given sound advice and I can thoroughly recomend the Riva/Tornado. If you go for the smaller 510 or 901 that look more like a cigarette you may eventually get fed up charging batteries and look for a better model anyway as I did. The model that Bucky recommends is excellent and a charged battery will last me two days as I am a very light vaper. It will last most vapers a full day which is excellent whereas for the 510 you will need to have probably three charged batteries if you were going out for the day. Also would recommend that you buy spare attys as these can be a bit of a weak link and can die on short notice. Don't be afraid to ask plenty of questions as everyone on the forum will help you find the answers. Happy vaping. Ken.

Have you tried the whopping cartomizers Kenny? They're even more beesier kneesier! (I've added a pic of the Riva for comparison). Fox Not yet Foxy I'm quite happy with the old fashioned carts and juice at the mo and have enough juice to do me for at least a year. If I needed anything I would probably get some to try out of curiosity but can't see me needing anything for some time as I have loads of hardware as well. Now if there was a definite ban then I might order another years worth from the sales that would likely occur and get some then. Glad you like them and can recommend. Ken.

OH HELL!! ... Let's Offend Everybody! Q. What's the Cuban National Anthem? A. Row, Row, Row Your Boat. Q. Where does an Irish family go on vacation? A. A different bar. Q. What did the Chinese couple name their tan, curly-haired baby? A. Sum Ting Wong . Q. What do you call it when an Italian has one arm shorter than the other? A. A speech impediment. Q. Why aren't there any Puerto Ricans on Star Trek ? A. Because they're not going to work in the future either. Q How do you get a sweet little 80-year-old lady to say the 'F' word? A. Get another sweet little 80-year-old lady to yell, 'BINGO!' Q. What's the difference between a northern fairytale and a southern fairytale??? A. A northern fairytale begins, ...'Once upon a time...' A southern fairytale begins, ... 'Y'all ain't gonna believe this shit.' Q. Why doesn't Mexico have an Olympic team ? A. Because all the Mexicans who can run, jump or swim are already in the United States.

My darling Perpy Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Did I mention I had bad eyesight To be serious though: A pair of powerful spectacles has sometimes sufficed to cure a person in love. ~Friedrich Nietzsche, Human, I love ya anyway. xx Ken.

Hi all I thought you might be interested in the recent launch of a new brand of e-cigs designed specially for the UK. Our brand is called Matchless and we are initially focusing on 2 types of disposable, both available in familiar flip-topped style packs. Matchless Red 20+ is a high strength disposable (24mg) and Matchless Blue 20+ is a medium strength disposable (18mg) Matchless rechargeables are set to follow. Our products are UK lab certified We are actively creating a number of retail stockists as well as offering direct sales from our new website at www.matchlessecig.co.ukWe'd love to get your feedback on our branding, packaging and website cheers Julian Hi Julian, As I live in Crete my feedback is probably not much help but without looking deeper into your site I find the price of 6.75 for something that is the supposed to be the equal of 20 cigs a tad expensive. Will have a deeper look later but at the moment my better half is calling me for my tea. Regards' Ken.

Hi,,, dear hissie & perpetua you know what, i am very very worried. i am sure that i'm not the only one wondering whether we'll all just go back on the cigs and tobacco if the ban happens, how sad will that be.. : ( beepxx Beeper, time enough worrying when it happens. Just get a little stock in to tide you over, not to much because if it happens there will be loads of sales as suppliers will want to cut their losses and wind down. As for me I will smoke tea leaves before I pay baccy tax again. I would be surprised if there was not a way to still get supplies on the internet and China will not go away. Don't worry, be happy. Just my thoughts of course. Ken.

Just spotted this bit of news on the internet that cheered me up. "Other celebrities who have been seen puffing an e-cigarette include Leonardo Di Caprio, Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, Kevin Connelly, Twiggy, Posh Spice, Kevin Federline, Naomi Campbell, Britney Spears, Eric Roberts, Simon Cowell, Sarah Harding, Taryn Manning, Rhys Ifans, and Tom Petty." This was the article www.officialwire.com/main.php?action=posted_news&rid=228227Good link Inn If its good enough for them its good enough for me Ken.

Love how they say theres none of the bad stuff. We need more to come forward like this. Don't we just ckc. Please feel free to be as outrageous as you dare Foxy! Kerchink. I've just had an idea based on the 'calendar girl' principle - a different mod of ecig for each month, with ummmmm a suitably ( un ) attired vaper. Open to both boys & girls to be models. I will buy one if you're in it Perpy. Ken.

That's why we try hard to get MSE enquirers to come over here - there are self-important, unsympathetic, ignorant... all kinds on that thread, and it's so easy to put someone off who might have had a life-changing opportunity scylla Now say what you really mean Scylla. Ken.
