Yes Sales like these always makes me think a business is in trouble ? but thats just me I think the opposite. Take the sales of the tank atties alone, they sold 3000 in the 1st fortnight, at a large profit margin considering they buy that many in one go, probs getting em for 3 quid each. Big money turnover. Then, sales drop off, no one needs any for a few weeks/months... So, have a sale day, sells another 1500 in 2 days alone, at a smaller profit. Not as big money turnover, but still a turnover. And all the time, lessening sales of their competitors. Behind the ridiculous devil alter-ego, he's a clever and probably ruthless businessman. I agree with Bucko that JC is a good business man who leaves the other vendors standing. It works for him and more power to him I say. Lets face it he can't lose as even if he has a sale he is in profit. Don't ask me how I know as I won't tell but if you are buying this stuff in quantity from China there is 300% profit in the stuff so if you have a sale you can afford to half your price and make a profit. So the vendors that don't have sales in the long run are the losers. He keeps good quality stuff and I say this from experience as anything I have bought from TW has lasted. I have bought absolute crap clones and juices from another supplier that have been a waste of money and it really pisses me off that some still recommend them. Bye the way James in Paradise vapes is not on my list of crap vendors and I still will recommend his juices. Rant over but its an honest rant. Ken.

I have to say that I think for what its worth that the Karma system is not good because people can very often get undeserved karma points from their friends and not only for helpful posts whilst others who may be helpful but quieter get none which IMHO can cause bad feeling. I was amazed here that as a relative newbie that I seemed to get a lot of karma points but I would not say my contributions were that good. Just my opinion of course and others will no doubt disagree. Ken.

Sean, yes, the top of the filler was wet. I'll try a new cart and let you know. Kenny, do you mean by 'dripping' that there is juice on the atty with only an empty cart, without any filling, on top of it? how long would the 3 drops last this way, I wonder? Another thought about the low vapour volume - I'm trying this on the 2nd battery while the first one is charging (I couldn't wait for the recommended 8 hrs charging for the first time ). Maybe the battery i'm using doesn't have enough 'juice' to produce the promised volumes of vapour? (sorry for giving info piecemeal) Thanks Jason Kenny, do you mean by 'dripping' that there is juice on the atty with only an empty cart, without any filling, on top of it? how long would the 3 drops last this way, I wonder? Yes Jason, this is what I mean but no more than three drops and it would do no harm before you drip to try a small draw first in case your atty is flooded. Three drips will do me half an hour, but I only take 3 second draws. Some people say 10 minutes, depends on how you use it really. You will know when you need to drip more as the taste will change to a burnt taste if you leave it too late. The secret with practice is to notice the taste change before you get the burnt taste. Hope this helps. Ken.

Thanks for the quick responses, guys. I blew through the atty and then poured 3 drops in as suggested. Waited and put the cart back in. No joy - still the bad taste and very little vapour Interestingly, when I pulled the cart out, the filling was stuck inside the atty and I had to pull it out manually and put back in the cart. So looks like I have burnt the filler? How can I avoid it the next time? Any more suggestions? Thanks once again. Jason, if the filling was stuck inside the atty then you may have it too proud and its got burnt causing the bad taste. I love the 510 atties but they do not wick well in my experience and thats why I drip. Suggestion: Take the filler out of the cart, put three drops of liquid into the atty and replace the empty cart. You should be able to vape without the burnt taste. If this is successful and you like it you will have become a dripper. If this is not successful then there is either someting wrong with the atty or your juice is off. Ken.

Hi all 1st of all, Thanks! for such a wonderful forum!! This is my 1st post, so please bear with me if there are any daft questions. OK, having spent the last few days researching, I think I'm ready to order...for the 2nd time. I'm a 20+ a day (lights) smoker and have been at it for 20+ years, so when I heard of e-cigs a few days ago, i knew I had to give them a try. I started with 'skycig' but have quickly become frustrated due to the short battery and cartridge life. However, the good things are the included PCC and the fact that they are the size of normal cigs. Well, I've narrowed down on Riva 510 and have noticed that only LF and Cloud9 seem to sell it in the UK. What has been your experience with their starter kits? Are there any other vendors in the UK? Further, the starter kit at LF is cheaper (and has a bigger battery), but doesn't come with a wall charger, whereas C9's does. Wouldn't a USB charger take a lot longer time than a wall charger? LF don't seem to sell a separate wall charger at all! what do you guys think - is a wall charger a must have? If yes, then if I buy one from C9, will it work with the kit from LF? 2ndly, LF only provide blank carts and I'm too lazy to fill them with juice and would much rather prefer pre-filled ones. Here too (unless I have missed them), LF don't have pre-filled 510 carts? Again, can I buy pre-filled carts from C9 and use them on the LF kit? Finally, instead of going thru' all this pain, is it recommended to buy the entire starter kit from C9 instead of LF? I am hesitant to buy from C9 as LF seems to be a lot more popular than any other vendor, let alone C9. Will sincerely appreciate any inputs. First of all a big welcome to you Jason. Now fortunately this is an independent forum so I can say this: I personally would advise you to buy from LF rather than C9 as I had a bad experience with C9 as a newbie and found their stuff to be crap. LF in my opinion has a far better track record and will sort out problems if you are not happy. I would also advise you to look at the Tornado on the Totally Wicked site as this is what I have been using for over 6 months without any problems. The tornado I bought is as good now as day1. Others on this forum who have had good experience with C9 may contest this to try and balance things but this is my opinion solely based on my experience. I wish you well in whatever choice you make. Ken.

Ha ha ha :0) Hmm intresting. I had read about it not wicking well but totally forgot about it. I have spun the tanks. pushed it down for two clicks and made primer puffs without activting the battery. I have left a nice gap for the liquid to do its thing and still, still its doing unspeakable things to my taste buds. Maybe I am reading this wrong Wotsit but surely if you don't activate the battery the primer puffs won't work. You need to activate the battery and puff it like a pipe without inhaling to get rid of the primer. Its late here so off to bed for me. I hope you get sorted and someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Ken.

THE T TANK ATOMISER IS WHAT I MAY BE ABLE TO GET IS THAT WAHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT jAMES ? Not so sure about these Jimmy as they get varied reports by users such as leaking and guzzling juice. Think I will wait till the mark 2 more improved version comes out. Ken.

I agree with Lisa and Chrissie LF is the way to go. I personally would not recommend C9 for anything but then I am a profoundly dissatisfied customer. >

Don't take this in a bad way Ian but you never cease to amaze me as everything new that comes along you want to try it right away and it the dogs doodahs and you don't wait to see what responses there are from others. You also have to have it right away and then when you get it are disappointed. ??? Surely you have something to learn from this? The vendors must love you.

I think its a browser problem rather than a forum problem.
I used to use Firefox and had similar problems sometime ago trying to log into forums. I changed to Google Chrome and never had a problem since.

You'll all be very pleased to hear I have just now ordered the Riva 501 that was suggested by Chrissie. Linda I have sent you a pm (but stupidly I forgot to tell you my address which I will do now). I am very pleased that you have ordered this Tim and I wish you every success with it. Please try to be patient with it though and give it a fair go. Once you get used to it you will not want to go back to the ciggies but it takes a little time. You will be better off health wise and you will also make us very happy for you. Wishing you a Happy and Healthier New Year. Ken.
