I started in Jan 2012 in a Big Bang but not expecting to......just tried out of curiosity and thought they looked great on youtube etc.
Got Riva, smoked my last fag as I put it together, and have never had one since. Am amazed that I no longer smoke after 30 plus years.
Don't even think about it now. Tried a single puff of a fag at 1 month and 3 months just to see, not cos I wanted one, and couldn't stomach them.
Still pinching myself.....

I like VR Applewood.
Health Cabin RY4 is my staple vape. I don;t like the others I've tried - Dekang and Hansen.

Thanks Yakouesei you solved my problem with it as I always filled from the top before with a DCT tank but obviously struggled with this tank I have that fits the normal sized Boges.

And just to add. I always maintained that I wasn't that addicted to the nic, but the hand to mouth habit and I think the success of whilffling for me has proven that, as I really can;t take too much nic at all. I use about 1.5 mls juice daily now. And I always detested that after smell of smoking so that's a real bonus and pay off for me, which re inforces my pleasure in vaping as an alternative.

It took me 3-4 months to find a set up I really like.
For me that's a DCT tank (although currently experimenting with a normal boge cart that I punch and use in shorter tank - is ok) and an LT. I prefer Rivas/Egos for out and about.
My juice of choice is Health Cabin RY4 - whiffle that all the time. I also like El Toros Cigarillos but can get quite wired on it.
I agree, it is expensive at the start but now I know what I like and works for me, it is a lot better. Yes there is pre planning involved but I got used to that.
It is a personal thing though. I think all your points are valid and not anti vaping at all - it is a different mind set and habit to develop from smoking.
Luckily for me, I have not smoked a single cig since I started in early Jan, I have tried a puff, twice, from curiosity not craving, and couldn't stomach it. Still love the smell of the smoke from a fresh lit fag though.
Also I found that nic levels vary so much - have already told story of my boss who was on ultra light silk cuts, 15-20 daily. She uses 18 or 20 strength now, same as me (after low nic not enough for her) and goes through a third more juice than me. Yet I smoked full strength about 25 daily.
So the guides are just that - a guide.
Wish you luck.

I agree - I like the first kit suggested.
I also think that most have a mainsdapter to plug into knocking about. I like the Visions but I know people at work who prefer cartos.
Out iof 3 of us that started whiffling together, I'm the only one that's used the atomiser for tasting. The others just aren;t that interested in experimenting.
Got the boss lady on Visions now tho as she kept burning her cartos or drowning them, after months of practice. And letting her DCT tank run dry "cos it seems to work better" - no, the cart was knackered!

He's a cracking little dog, not yappy at all. He only has 2 teeth left, gets a bit of arthritis now and then, is totally deaf, we think his sight is beginning to go, but he is great for 15. Yes I believe it's a good age or the breed but little dogs live longer than big dogs. When we walk him everyone thinks he is a pup. I always had "real" dogs before him as I did not ever want a yappy, snappy one. But I trained him just the same (and he is bright, given he has a brain the size of a pea) and I think that's the key - after all, they are still a dog, and need to be treated as one, not an accessory. Best of all he is square and small, not ratty and small! And bonus - no dog hair tho I do have to trim his fur every few weeks! He was the runt of the litter too! Ali x

TBH though before I started vaping I had NEVER seen an e cig in real life anywhere. Seen the look a likies but nothing like we use. I have still not seen anone in our town vaping but I know there are a few out there because one posts on here! So I kind of understand people get concerned. I am now on a Lava tube with a black Vision and it does look a bit sinister.... But then, I don't embarass easy and happily explain to folks what it is etc and I also give the same reply as Shamreez if anyone starts laughing at it, esp if they are smokers. I do prefer to use a Riva when out, but only for the reasons given above. that the LT for me, just looks a bit too daunting to others. Ali x
