That's too much faffage for me. A twisted tissue does the job for me.  Pretty similar here, hot water and kitchen roll and occasional denture tablet. I might rinse them now and again, and use tissue, but as for cleaning with denture tablets.........  |

I clean my DT with a folded pipe cleaner and the DT socket with a cotton bud. That's too much faffage for me. A twisted tissue does the job for me. |

no such problem for me as I use alcohol wipes to clean my DTs with daily. And the Aeronaut top caps get run under a scalding hot tap every day. Mind you those bagpipe players must be clatty mingers if they only wash their sack once a year. Alcohol wipes need to be wrung out and imbibed! I was brought up being taken to measles/chicken pox/mumps etc parties. That's how to combat infection. Confront it and challenge it. Or so my elders said........ |

I wouldn't hold your breath. The TPD will be near the bottom of a long list of stuff that will need sorting out if we ever get round to leaving. Indeed. Anyone got a clue if when we will trigger the clause? |

I don't often blow down the drip tip, so not worried. After all, the idea is to inhale the vapour. Unless I've been doing it wrong........?
However, I have to clear out my DT's regularly, as the fill up with sawdust etc while at work. So I may inadvertantly be staying healthy(ish)

Yep. I'm afraid you get what you pay for. Fleabay is known for it's shyte goods. The link looks ok though  (if you want 2000 screws  ) £6:35 for twenty. But £4:95 of that is for shipping. Ye, I was joshing. Same postage for 2000 though |

Dunno about the black coating, but if you can get stainless steel ones, that would be best I'd say. I bought stainless steel grub screws tim and to be honest they didn't fair any better than the originals. But I must add that they came from ebay, so I'm not convinced they were stainless. Maybe just the usual ebay bullshit to sell the product. Fortunately it was only £2:50 for a bag of 10, so no great loss. What about grub screws Are black ones ok or is the black coating a bad thing in an atty? Dunno about the black coating, but if you can get stainless steel ones, that would be best I'd say. |

Why do so few countries send a football team? I don't recall any talk about Team GB men or women at these games, yet Germany managed to send a team and nearly win gold. The reason we don't send a Team GB footie team is FIFA. They would then think about only allowing a GB team into internationals (eg World cup, European Champs, etc.) A matter of national pride would not allow the independent FA's of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland to do that.
