Hehe Raggy, I think I'm going to prove you wrong just this time. I've just had a new bathroom fitted and I'm just about skint, save for a bit of juice buying. Yeah Chrissie, probably have no need for the HV option really as I'm sitting here right now vaping on my first LR atty on the Mako, and its bloody heaven.

Just an update on the Mako after a couple of weeks... The Minno version I started with, well after a few days, i got a bit sick of charging the batteries, as I was only getting a couple of hours tops before they started tailing off. I suppose it could be used for a night out, probably scrape through, but i have the tornado for those occasions so not really much use for the Minno sleeve. The lockable button i did have a problem with, but Tim, the seller from Smokejuice, has sorted that. He really is a top bloke, even phoned me with advice and couldn't have been more helpful. Great after sales service on this product for sure. I now have the Midi sleeve, it's a little longer, and the battery life is so much better, now getting 6-8 hours peak performance. It also has the option of HV using 2 batteries, which I'll be trying out soon as i get round to ordering some. It's a lovely device to use, really comfortable in the hand, and the vape from it is fantastic and consistent. I'm lucky to have some great E-cigs now, I love the tornado and the SD2, but the Mako is definitely my favourite. No more mods now. honest

1. In my experience, using juice is way better than pre-filled. Buy empty carts with a few small bottles of different flavours. don't buy big bottles of juice as you may not like it.
2. The tornado wins on all counts. And don't discount battery life on the minis...You will tire of charging the batteries. At peak, fully charged, they're fine, but after only half an hour, the performance drops and sooner rather than later you're gonna be reaching for the charger. Tornado's give you around 8 hours peak performance. At peak, the flavour, vapour and throat hit are all better.
3. I have 3 on the go...one for mint flavours, one for tobacco flavours and one for fruit/sweet flavours.

I doubt you'd be satisfied with nicotine free vaping as there's not a lot of throat hit. I'd recommend any new starter to get the Tornado, it's a hassle free device with great battery life.

I'm currently using 2 510 silver atties from my SD1 package, bought 10 weeks ago. They've been through the cleaning process twice, and still going like the clappers.
The 901's however don't seem to respond to the cleaning.
I just think it costs ya nothing with very little effort to attempt to get them going. If it doesn't work, then I bin them.

I used to have real problems with lifespan of atties. Now, when they start to give crap performance, I blow any excess juice out, rinse for 30 secs with hot water and leave to dry, at least overnight. Then, attach to battery, fire up for 10 secs while blowing into the atty. Do this for 3 or 4 times till I see the glow clearly. Then 4 drops of juice to atty, attach cart and usually they're working much better than previously. Think I've only lost 2 atties the last 8 weeks. Comapre that to losing about 8 atties in the previous 8 weeks, due to being clueless lol.

Bucko, did you ever get round to buying the F-16? No, I have enough to devices to be going on with for now, plus I've not seen any reviews yet, nor do i want to, in case they're brilliant lol. Just stocking up on juice for the next few weeks, if the ban does happen, that'll be the first thing to be hit i think.

If you get stuck Lilac, I'd give you £6 for them. Got nowt to trade really apart from 510 batts and charger Lilac, I've just seen Enjuice have a 15% sale on till Friday, they have a million juices i like, so I'm going to have to withdraw the cash offer for now, as I'll be skint in about 15 minutes after ordering their juices

Raggy, that offer on TW is for SD mk2s isn't it?
I'm going to order it soon, it's a good price for what you get.
Pixie, My SD2 from TW has been flawless for a month now, much better than the SD1's I had. The batteries last for ages with no drop off, estimate about 7-8 hours. If you're in the market for a dedicated 901 device, its definitely a good buy.

P+P was free with a 10$ spend, their pre cut blue foam is rather excellent. Postage took about 10 days.
