Kath, I've just read your offer of doing a bulk order from Eastmall, thanks a lot, I'll pm you an order later on tonight, I'd love to try their LR atties. In reply to your question of instruments lol.
Honestly, the Riva/Tornado is more than enough. It's that good and hassle free. Having said that, i do have a couple of others.
A Screwdriver 2 (SD2), which i bought in a sale, got this to try out the 901 atomiser, as I started with the 510 and was curious to see the difference. Still prefer then 510 atomiser, but its nice to change now and again.
Also have a Mako, which I bought to have different options on size of battery and voltage.
Of the 3, the Mako is me fave, as it has the most power so it's a more satisfying vape. And its very nice to hold and easy to use.

If anyone is doing an order, I wouldn't mind chipping in with £30 worth of stuff from there, seems they're decent quality from what I've read.

One important thing to weigh up between the cheaper normal sized batteries versus an e-cig like the Riva -
The smaller e-cigs (901, 510 etc) that looks most like a cigarette - they do work well, when fully charged. But after about one hour, the power will drop off and the vape/throat hit will not be as good as when it was fully charged. Even though it 'lets you vape' as it still 'lights up' as you dragged on it - This is so frustrating, and in the early days it used to baffle me - as I never knew whether it was the battery that needed charging, or if it was the atomiser on its way out. So i was constantly charging batteries just to be sure.
The Riva - holds its charge right to the very end - there is no drop off in power, the vape/throat hit quality will be with you until the light blinks on the button, telling you to re-charge it. So using a Riva battery is a good indicator of how well your atomiser is performing - if the vape/throat hit is under par, it'll be time to replace the atomiser.

Glad you're enjoying vaping so far Hanow, it really is awesome (most of the time) The atomisers. I use one atomiser just for tobacco type liquids, say if you're using L+B, then fancy a different tobacco like Drum, it's no problem, the tobaccos merge well together I find. Then a different atomiser for mint/menthols. And a third for fruity/sweet flavours. There is some crossover in taste, but by using similar type liquids in each atomiser, it negates any possibility of a horror taste for example, how not to do it - use the same atomiser for L+B, then drop some jaffa cake juice in it - not good lol.

After 6 months of vaping, my stash consists of an SD2 for the 901 atomiser usage, a Tornado set, for out and about, and a Mako Midi. Whichever model you end up with, it's all dependant on how good the atomiser is. having said that, a good atomiser used between the above E-cigs, the Mako performs the best.
If i was to recommend just the one, it would always be the Tornado/ego/ Riva (they're all the same really). for ease of use and consistent high performance.

Lilac, I got my LR atomisers from liberty flights. I'm still on my first one, been using it 3 weeks now, though it's not been used exclusively. It's now performing more like a normal 510, powers dropped off a bit, so not ready for the nakkers yard yet, but not far off I guess. When you first use the LR, they need loads of juice to break them in, more so than normal atomisers...it tasted really burnt and harsh to begin with, but a bit of extra juice sorted that out. When they're new and fresh, they're great for nights out when the beer starts to take over and you crave that throat hit. I don't like using it all the time though, probably a bit too powerful for that (for me anyway), but I use it in rotation with a normal 510, and a cartomiser. My workmates hubby had his first night of vaping last night, she told me he really liked it. Early days like. Another workmate bought a tornado kit, he loved it, but he sold it on as he said he was getting a bit 'chesty'. I told him to cut his juice with a little glycerine as he may have been too high nicotine, he was coming from a nicorette inhaler, not cigarettes. He's a bit impulsive, and didn't try my advice and he sold it. Now he's back on the nicorette inhaler, which he's been on for 11 YEARS (YES i know - WHAT lol)...and it costs him £20 a week. Dear me. That's putting it mildly.

January 9 since i had a tab. I've found it really easy. The early days were a bit frustrating, learning how E-cigs work, what can go wrong etc. But i do think a lot of it had to with me having bought sub-standard gear. There's just loads of great options out there now. It's never been easier I do go outside at work a couple off my tornado, there's always a few smokers around, and not a single time have i wanted a cigarette. I just think these are way better than smoking ever was for me. As long as I've got some kind of E-cig, I'll never smoke again. Though i'm still not sure how I'd react if someone took the E-cigs away...would i want a tab then?

My workmates Riva kit came today, talk about fast delivery, I ordered it for her at midday yesterday I showed her how to set the atomisers up properly, blew them out till dry, then added 5 drops of E-liquid (took me 4 weeks to learn this when i started lol, i was forever getting that nasty burning taste) - hopefully she should avoid that. Filled the carts for her - removed the filler, dropped in 8 drops of E-liquid, put the filler back in, then added another 8 drops onto the filler till well soaked but not overflowing. The first one was champion, lots of vapour and taste. When i went to do the 2nd atomiser, it turns out to be completely dead...It's the 1st time in 6 months I've came across a D.O.A. atomiser. i've read about them but not seen it, i thought it was a myth lol. Anyway, gave her one of my new Low resistance atomisers, jesus they give a massive throat hit. The Riva is actuaally not for her, its for her hubby who smokes Drum rollies. It'll be interwsting to see what he makes of these LR atomisers and the Drum liquid. Off now to email Liberty flights about this dead atomiser - It's definitely dead, I've tried it on all of my fully charged batteries. Don't expect any problems in gettign a replacement though, i've had nothing but first rate service from all the vendors I've ever used.

Someone at work sounds similar to yourself, she was asking similar questions today. My advice was skip the smaller battery sets altogether, such as the one you quoted (901). The battery life is poor, and now there's much better out there to avoid those completely. For my work colleague, I've ordered a Riva 510 pack from liberty flights. These are a Tornado/Ego clone, and a canny bit cheaper too. Great battery life and an easy to use device for anyone to use. With that, added 5ml E-liquids of various flavours, 2 of the VG type, and 2 of the PG type. All from liberty flights, using the code ECR69 for a 15% discount. Also added 2 Low Resistance (LR) 510 atomisers. Making 4 in total, with the 2 standard 510 atomisers you get with the Riva 510. this will be good to go for at least a month. Total came to 60 odd quid. Atomisers can last from between a week to a couple of months, depending on luck and usage, so always best to have spares. Carts take around 10-15 drops to begin with, then every so often you need to top them up with a couple more drops - you'll know when to top up as the flavour/vapour drops off. Cost - startup can be pricey, but after a couple of months it can be cheaper than fags - though if you get hooked you'll end up buyinh stuff every couple of weeks till you've got a rather large stockpile - ahem. It's all good though. Eliquid is a case of trial and error - I always stuck to tobaccos and mints in the beginning - all at 18mg strength, which is more than enough for a decent throat hit.
