Anyone seen the post on the SD forum about what I'm presuming is a new returns policy?
Trog says it may be cheaper and easier to buy a new SD rather than return a dead one, as free fixes are a thing of the past due to new half price and Bogof's. Can still return them but charged for fixing.
A think a woulda preferred the normal price lol.

mako ? not heard of this one. buckowski you seem to be becoming a bit of a collector raggy...... Hehe, yeah am obsessed... Well i did part fund this by selling off my SD1's. Kept the SD2 cos it has a 901 atty and has been hassle free so it'll be a good backup if owt goes pearshaped. Oh, and erm the tornado's for pub crawls

Well, my new toy arrived today I got the minno version, it's very comfortable to use, the button is lovely, hardly any pressure needed to activate it. And it's lockable, which is going to be really handy when out and about. More sleeves are available for it to enable higher voltage use, and bigger longer lasting batteries, which no doubt I'll be trying when my paypal balance stops grimacing back at me. I do love the battery life and overall consistency of the Tornado, but the vape is not as nice as an SD at it's best, and the SD i had was plagued with inconsistencies. So the Mako has produced on both counts, for this afternoon at least. Though of course it's still early days, but very happy so far.

No worries Scylla,
They definitely taste like fresh brewed coffee, it's just odd to my taste buds, coffee smoke lol.
I think I'll be sticking to the baccy/minty flavours from now on.

Hello all,
I have a couple of bottles of Totally Wicked DV concentrates for trade. Both been opened to test, but I guess coffee vaping is not going to be for me, don't like either of them, even though they're highly regarded it seems. There's Doppio Expresso and Cafe Brasiliano, about 8-9ml of each. Please note they are concentrates, so need to be mixed with some sort of unflavoured juice. My favourites so far have been that Flu cured from Trog, Enjuice's tobaccos/minty stuff, and not tried but on my radar are the OKsmokey tobaccos, like Drum/Holborn DF.

I keep my bottles I've used, sad I know...just had a tot up, been through 130ml and been vaping for 15 weeks, so about 9ml a week.
I have 100ml of juice left, should last nigh on 3 months.
when exactly is the proposed ban date, couldn't remember if it's June 1st or the 21st, anyone know?
Hope it's the 21st, got no spare readies till next payday...there'll be a big juice order going in then lo0l.

No you've helped me loads, I'm probably going to swerve the GG's for now, got my eye on the Mako range.
Lots of different setup options, and a little bit cheaper than the GG - not by much though.
It doesn't look as good as the GG range, but still a nice looking bit of kit.
Decisions decisions.

Do you know Buck, I might have to hold back on selling this until I manage to get my hands on the GGTS. I wasn't expecting them to sell out quite so quickly! The only Extra I bought was the batteries.. I'll keep you posted.. Lynda Ok Lynda, thanks. If you have a Tornado, how does the vape compare to the slim? And how longs the battery life on these? Never really checked the GG range out before, always took one look at the price and ran away lo0l.

It looks like I've got my SD1's working properly now. When i first got them, i bought some spare batteries and a multi charger to charge them. Cue lowpower and short battery life.
Last week i got an SD2, which came with a nano charger. I've been using that since then, and its made a huge difference, so much that it looks like that multi charger is faulty, or crap.
I noticed the multi charger only takes 1.5 hours to charge, where the nano takes 4+. but the trade off is, my batteries now seem to have much more power, the vapour and throat hit is huge. And they last longer between charges.
The SD2 batteries especially..I've only charged them once apiece over the last week.
hope I haven't jinxed it lol, but it's going well. Still puzzled as to why the SD1's completely broke down twice mind, but hey.
+1 to the Nano! and the SD lol.

I use the pre cut blue foam from strictly ejuice.
It's been about 5 weeks now, I much prefer it over the stuff that comes in the carts. No messing about cutting it to size, and it seems to last forever flavour wise, I've got carts that have been on the go for weeks with this stuff in, with no drop off in taste.

just need an adapter so i can use my 901 atties with it. Just to throw a spanner in the works Lilac... I've been trying out my adapter on the Tornado to see what the 901 atties are like and...its not very good. The same atty in my SD2 has a mild throat hit and lots of vapour, on the tornado it's a zero throat hit and half as much vapour. One up for the SD lol. Mind, for 4 days now, all of my SD's have been working well, I think I'll get some extra lottery numbers this week. Edit...like all things E-cigs, turns out my 901 atty was on its way out, 3 days wow a record lol. Swapped a new 901 in the Tornado with adapter, works champion. not as good as the SD2, but still perfectly good.

Lilac, Definitely send them back to Trog so he can take a look, they did come back much improved... He didn't charge me anything, though obviously had to pay for postage to get them to him.
They do drop off occasionally, when they do I immediately think, right, they're going back lol, but I always seem to figure out the problem. I think in my case it's crap batteries or a crap charger, they last nowhere near the time they're supposed to - maybe 3 hours tops.
That's my issue with SD's, I thought they'd take away the hassle of E-cigs, but mine don't... (is it the atty, is it the battery, is it the cart, is it crap juice lol).
whereas, the Tornado vapes consistently right down to the battery light blinking. With the SD, it's guesswork as there's no indicator to tell you if the battery is flat.
The SD2 I've just got is still on its 1st charge, 4 hours in. Here's hoping on that one...
