Not to be weird but you guys know you can use an adblocker extension on firefox and chrome (both browsers) that gets rid of almost all ads right? I don't mean for paying to keep them off the site, I mean for personal browsing. I use adblock plus and didn't even know photobucket still used ads to be honest. Almost all sites I go to just don't show the ads anymore. It doesn't work with the internet explorer browser but it's compatable with firefox and chrome. Not trying to sound condescending or anything

Just to say thanks for a great site with great prices. I've got a wallet load stuffed with freedomvape business cards for the rare occasion someone catches me with one of my bigger ecig out in public and asks about it. Besides me, there's a fair few newbies that got sent to the amazing deal on the ego/riva kit right now. It's unbelievable value. Thanks for keeping vaping affordable Really helps to get a newbie in the right direction if the right kit doesn't cost so much more than less reliable alternatives.

Thanks. I finally got a tripod so I'm hoping to take better exposures soon. It's me and a bunch of brave tourists out here so yeah, no surprise. Although, I once found a 510 cartridge top in the car park so there is one here somewhere! I'd recognise a bit of ecig kit a mile away I just have to find them first. I know right? It's like waiting on someone trying the most delicious chocolate bar ever and you know they're going to love it but they're taking so long to get back to you lol

Icy sounds about right We had a week where everything was covered with a sheet of ice. Paths, car parks, cars, buildings... pretty much everything. It's been so wet instead of snowy it's pure ice when it's cold. Just sent an american friend back home today and they finally got why we have so many expressions for the weather, like 10+ words for what the rain is like etc because we can get all four seasons here in one day sometimes. Funny to bring an Oklahoma born american into the 166mph winds and pure ice we were having when they got here Welcome to scotland bruh

Jerry, I found the thread I saw you on so hello again and thank you I'm still waiting on him to come back from walking his dog to tell us if he's getting along with his ego or not yet haha. Might be another houdini newbie who disappears when they get it working but that's cool too. Hi Dave, and thanks. Ah you're from Leicester. I've been there a few times but it's been a really long time since I've been back. It's an alright place to be Hey Lilac. I'm in Inverness-shire away up in the mountains (here specifically: img.photobucket.com/albums/v233/leftfeild/Photography/DSC_0002-1.jpg - one of these days I'm going to edit out those lovely dust smears that came out on that picture, I swear. onfinite.com/libraries/226098/d44.jpg - img.photobucket.com/albums/v233/leftfeild/Photography/cairngorms.jpg ). Nice to look at, pain to live in if you know what I mean. It's so rare for me to even see a UK vaper, let alone a Scottish one on ECF this is like, whaaaat, other scots vape? lol

2.8 - 3.2ohm 510 cartos: www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-510-standard-resistance-%285%29~145 Not too sure about larger capacity 3ohm cartos though. The lavatube caps off at I think 2.5amps. Going by memory alone I think it only runs dual coils of 1.5ohm at around 3.7v even if you set it to go higher so you're really limiting your range with dual coils. You're right though, dual coils will drain the battery faster than standard single coil. You might want to try out a CE2 but you need to modify them to get them to wick optimally. freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_1049/XL-Ultimate-Clearomizers.html?shop_param=cid%3D7%26aid%3D1049%26If you get them, you just need to take the seals out and cut the seal that sits over the cup's slots into /\ shapes. Just make the slots a little wider and stick it back on. From that point on you fill it with 2ml of liquid with a syringe at a time so it's pretty fast and almost similar to a carto. They're not for everyone but I absolutely love them on the lavatube at 5V with a drip tip on 'em. I get about 3/4 a day out of one lavatube battery (the iffy ones that came with the kit) before they hit about 3.6v and drop off a fair deal. I use about 3ml of liquid a day in my CE2s. 1700mAh on those lavatube batteries but I'm looking to replace them as they're a mystery brand no one really wants to keep using right now.

I've vaped from 24mg right down to 0mg (not that that makes me an expert), sometimes with the same juices at differing mg ratings and I'll side with Griz in saying no, it doesn't affect the flavour, in my experience.
However, I've found sometimes vendors have slightly different tasting liquids for different nicotine concentrations which I guess is just due to when it was made or it was a different batch. Usually it's pretty much exactly the same flavours though. I used to use 18mg caramel from one vendor, and I tried their 8mg and 0mg. The 8mg was the same as the 18 but the 0mg one was so much sweeter I wondered if they forgot to dilute it properly or something or tried to compensate for the lack of nicotine in some way. Strange but true, the 0mgs I've tried have sometimes been strange compared to ones with nicotine.
On the face of it though, if the base flavouring is the same then the flavour will be the same when you add the nicotine; as you're diluting with hopefully the same ml of different concentrations of nicotine in pg/vg/peg etc. I don't really notice any flavour related to nicotine, just the throat hit of it.

Thanks Rok Star I've seen one of your threads on the rok star in the UK subsection on ECF I think You used a RN4081! I really want to try one out just for the vintage of those units and sample a piece of ecig history. They have a pretty dim view on small ecigs these days but there's a guy here who's wanting rid of his so might be adding one to my collection soon I would consider the social aspect if I wasn't a crazy nightshift worker that can't drive yet and lives in the middle of nowhere. Maybe when I can get around by my own means I'll consider it but it's cool to know all the same. Thanks for the welcome!

I know what you mean. They ask where to get things in the UK and they get 20 replies with links to US vendors until someone from the UK notices or checks their location. It makes me laugh sometimes but it's always good to have the supplier list linked here bookmarked for just such an occasion It's one of the reasons I thought we only had two ecig suppliers in the UK for a good few months lol! Thanks VE Jason! I know what you mean. I was just saying last night that I was trying to find the DIY section there and it took me five minutes because it's a subforum in a nearly related subform. Then I needed to link to the UK PIF thread and it also wasn't where I thought it would be haha I mainly stick to the newbie section and genereal ecig subforums though as that's where most people hang out and it's something to do.

Yeah, I've seen a few faces I recognise but have never actually spoken to on ECF that are here too. Thanks for the compliment, it's stuff like that that makes it worth it, besides actually helping someone make the switch of course! I really owe the older members for everything I've learned so far though and for what I'm still learning about ecigs today. Last but not least, thanks to yourself for a great new resource and for all the links I've totally grabbed off you over this year to pass on to UK based newbies on ECF

For my lavatube batteries I use a 4.2v charger at 0.5A.
I'm in no way an electrician or battery specialist so I can't answer your other questions (sorry), that's just what my charger is rated at that works with the 18650's I use with it.
