Sure thing I have heard that a lot of menthol can dull your taste, especially if the menthol is strong. It could be why, but sometimes I find if I'm vaping one flavour for a long time I end up being able to barely taste it as well. I've never seen the bud tank before so if it works let me know there's a lot of horror stories for the other types like the ego tank. If I had a pound for every thread I've seen titled "help with my egoT leaking/burnt taste" I'd be a lot better off, or have a lot more ecigs

Yes, the bud tank atomiser is compatable if you buy a 510 threaded riva. Rivas also come in 901 versions so you'll want the 510 one to be able to use it with the bud tanks.
For voltages, the 510 you have is a regulated battery at 3.2volts. The riva however is unregulated and when you take it fully charged off the charger it will be 4.2volts and will slowly reach 3.3volts as it's depleted.
That means that the riva will have more "power" than the 510 you have and you will experience a warmer or stronger vape as a result. If it's too strong for you, you can buy higher resistance bud tank atomisers which will lessen the power the riva is putting out, so cooler vapour and less of it.
The cone on the riva is purely for aesthetics and is removable. There's no requirement to use it. It's meant to be used with atomisers rather than tanks but it is purely for aesthetics so it's up to you if you want to use it or not. It may slightly affect the air flow on the riva with it on but it wouldn't be by much.

For clearomisers I'd strongly recommend these ones: freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_1049/XL-Ultimate-Clearomizers.html?shop_param=cid%3D7%26aid%3D1049%26 (use the code JAN15 for 15% off too) Clearomisers had cracking issues until this version. The casing is much harder now and I've used a wide variety of juices in these with no problem at all. I have them in my pocket all day most days and they're on the base so well they haven't come off either. The only trouble with these is that you might have to take the seals out to get it to wick optimally. What I do is remove all the seals and the one that sits over the cup inside, I cut the slots into /\ shapes then put it back on. That way it wicks very well and will vape like a champ. It's a one time job and you can reuse that seal you cut on a new one or just cut the next one. It takes me less than 2 minutes to do it now and one CE2 lasts me well over a month at a time. You will need a syringe to fill these but at a 2ml-ish capacity you should be good for a full day. 20 drops is roughly equal to 1ml so you are looking at about 1.5ml useage a day out of the cartos you have now. If you get those CE2s and have any problem using them let me know and I'll sort you out

It'll be interesting for sure to see where vaping is at if I make it to 80 and finally get to live my lifelong dream of owning a purple mobility scooter so I can drive it down the main road the wrong way and plead senility when I get into trouble for it. Lol, don't forget to menacingly wave your walking stick at everyone who blasts their horn at you A walking stick ecig mod. Now there's an invention and a half imagine the battery life you could get out of one of those!

I tried one of my favourite rollies when I went to america a few months ago. A hand rolled by me golden virginia cigarette that I was really looking forward to. I hadn't smoked anything since I think late feb/early march and wanted it to see how smoking was. Well, I took three drags off it and I really wondered how I ever thought this tasted better than any other cigarette. Licking an ashtray is the only comparable flavour I got. I was a little sad that I couldn't go back to what I had enjoyed for a good 6 years but a lungfull of my favourite coffee cake mix hit the spot and it was almost a vaping related ephiphany when I realised I am not a smoker anymore and likely never will be again. I had thought about having a cigarette now and then until that point but now I know it's just not meant to be. There's so many good flavours out there and so little time to try them all! Good luck on your taste adventure out there Whoops, forgot to say, I'd add maybe 1 in 4 drops of vg/pg/h2o to the cartomiser every time you top it up if you want to dilute it. Much more than that and it'll dilute the flavour quite a bit.

24, but I wish I got into vaping sooner. Still, better to be vaping now than when I'm older and have to because I have to. It feels a little strange for me to be vaping because it's so expected of you to be a smoker here, I feel like I'm fitting in and not at the same time. I don't know anyone who doesn't smoke or has at least never smoked. No one my age is interested in ecigs here, I guess because they don't feel they have to quit yet and I don't hang out with older folk so I guess they'll hear about them from someone else It'll be interesting for sure to see where vaping is at if I make it to 80 and finally get to live my lifelong dream of owning a purple mobility scooter so I can drive it down the main road the wrong way and plead senility when I get into trouble for it.

The lavatube is about as good as it gets for "affordable" vaping. You'll be hearing a lot about it right now because it's fairly new. I didn't see it in the UK until early December last year. If you use it you don't need low resistance atomisers/cartomisers etc with it anymore. If you use low resistance gear on it it limits the amps and will cut off at a certain voltage when it hits that amp limit. It wont tell you when it cuts off and it will keep on heating the atomiser/cartomiser, it just might be at a lower voltage than it's telling you it is. I haven't seen it priced lower than it is on freedomvape right now so yeah, grab it while it's on sale To compare, it has the same sort of power as the "best" £200 ecig that's been the frontrunner of the ecig world for a few years (the provari). The lavatube is not built to be able to withstand a tank running over it, but it is a pretty sturdy aluminum device that I've already managed to drop at least 50 times since I've had it haha You should be happy with it, I know I am

Way out of my price range I used to use them on a ego with an ego booster, but that's like an ego with a cake tin ontop that's really liable to falling apart so it wont be going outside anymore I use them on the lavatube but I might as well have gotten a 5v mod because I almost always have it at 5v. If it had a higher amp limit I guess my dual coils wouldn't suck so bad on it too but I'm really not that fussed for them.

Dual Coils I find are better used at higher voltages, then you can see why Vapers rave on about them, 3.7v doesn't really do them justice or realise the full potential of them IMHO. I'd suggest Kangers or Boge cartomiser's on Ego Batteries Tam, not Dual Coils. Yeah, even the lavatube cuts them off at 3.7v-ish so I've never hit them at a decent voltage. A CE2 at around 5v is all I need so my dual coils are probably going to rust before I buy something that can handle the wattage needed. Definately wouldn't recommend them for an ego in any case.

Oh dual coils? I'd get onto them about it if they're under warranty. I wouldn't expect them to crack like that unless you were using them at high voltage or the lowest resistance.
I'd avoid the clear versions of dual coils as well as they're generating more heat through the unit.

Ego batteries are regulated to 3.2 volts. So you want to match up the ohms (resistance) to the voltage of the battery you have. For 3.2v you're really wanting a minimum of 2.5ohms or it'll be too cool a vape. I prefer around 2ohms for an ego as I'm used to higher voltages. For dual coils it's a little more confusing as the final resistance they advertise it is the combined resistance over two coils. So you have two 3ohm coils in parallel or series (I forget which now) for a total of, say the 1.5ohms advertised. I've used 4 dual coil cartos on my ego batteries, every single one was pitiful so I can't say dual coil cartomisers are great and I really don't understand the hype around them at all whatsoever. You can likely get any kind of cartomiser much cheaper from liberty-flights.co.uk compared to totallywicked liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=120 dual coils at liberty-flights To sum up, for single coil cartos you want 2.5ohms for a warm vape and closer to 2.0+ for a hot vape. For dual coil cartos...eh... I don't think they're great but it's the combined resistance of two coils so it's different.

Where did you get them from? The old style CE2s (I assume that's the kind you got for clearos) had a very thin casing and were very prone to cracking. They were like that up until revision 5 when they brought out the "vision" aka ultimate edition. Some vendors will still sell the old version but you can get the ones with harder casing from freedomvape: freedomvape.co.uk/shop/article_1049/XL-Ultimate-Clearomizers.html?shop_param=cid%3D7%26aid%3D1049%26I've used these for a few months and I'm happy to say, not a single crack. Use JAN15 for 15% off right now but they're already priced well as it is. For the ones you have now though there is still hope! You can buy BD 3ml syringes and cut them to size which are so crack proof, I haven't had a single one crack until one was run over by a car. Then it cracked but the CE2 inside was still working so I just put on a new tube. You can get the BD 3ml syringes from ebay for very cheap. They tend to get shipped in packs of 10 or so. Just need to cut it to the same length of the tubes for your CE2s and cut off the handles where your fingers are meant to go on the syringe tube. The whole casing problem was completely solved with the ultimate edition as I said though so it's up to you if you want to buy new ones or buy some syringe cases for them to use. Hope that helps

Looks interesting leftfield, but it says it accesses all your data an all websites and your tabs and browsing activities. Don't like the sound of that, especially with websites like online banking and paypal. It shouldn't do. Looking at the adblock pro for internet explorer it looked a little dodgy compared to adblock plus for firefox and chrome. I know adblock plus isn't compatable for IE so it's not the same company. If you're using firefox with the adblock plus extension, it uses a list of submitted "blocks" from users and developers blocking ads. It doesn't access personal information per se; it doesn't look for or store things other than what's on the list of things to block. You can disable adblock plus for specific pages as well, like online banking and paypal: For firefox - Press 'alt' > go to 'Tools' at the top of the page > hover over 'adblock plus' You'll see a "disable on (site you're on).com/uk" option that turns it off for the page you're on. It's just a plugin for firefox and chrome that makes a rule with css to block known ads, using only the "subscription" list of known ads to block. That's as I understand it anyway where did you see that it stores personal information?
