I'm still pretty new to vaping, so I'm no expert by any means, but I got some boge LR cartomisers with my newly aquired Riva 510.. my experience with these is the hit they give is amazing and it's a pretty instant blast of vapor, I literally only have to hold the button for maybe a second and get PLENTY! of vapor etc and full throat hit..full amount of vapor, fast heatup and the vapor is pretty warm too like smoke..
However I have noticed I'm going through juice really really quick.. I'm considering getting some SR cartomisers too to test the difference.
nb* glad you asked about knowing when to replace the cart too as It's something I've been wondering as well.. I havn't had to yet, but Im guess it will just sort of loose it's taste, or just not have the ooomph when it gets too old?

Well done for making the choice to "go for it" I'm sure you won't regret it, and will be soo glad you did, and welcome to the wonderful world of Vaping, I'm sure you've already discovered it's a really really freindly place here and you get answers pretty quick so it won't be long before your up and running with everything you need...
I'm new to vaping too, but like you was amazed how much of a smoking experience vaping gave and I never touched an analogue since..

Hi Jane...
What I'm wanting to do is create a pipe setup for the evenings, I was thinking of getting one of the pipe stems/mouthpeices, and maybe the kuwako bowl, then I can just pop them on my Riva of an evening.. I'm not so much after an actual epipe (though I would like one of those) but more a way to quickly convert my Riva into a pipe style..
Having said that, I'm still at a stage where I'm interested in everything ehe, building up my stash sooo.. I do have a drip tip which I got free with my Riva, but I've been looking for a longer drip tip too(think I kind of got the vape bug).. eh.

why not, bit of sweet revenge on the parasites, I hate it when I just want to go a shop for 1 product etc, and theyre all out with their clipboards etc and come and stand in your way....grrrr!...
and yeah, thats the great thing about places like this and forums etc, real reviews from real people who actually use and experience their service etc, hopefully as this place expands and others like it, the targets for the scammers/scummers.. will become less.

I hate all these types of scamms, that's the only thing with the internet it makes it too easy for parasites etc..
is there no sort of official guild of Ecig vendors etc, or some kind of body to officate genuine vendors etc..

haha, yeah I'm not actually going to drink it *the ejuices*, I think I meant one thats safe if it should splashback, or somehow end up with it in the mouth, as it's a pain to have to keep getting up and going and rinsing it out etc... but it got me thinking about a type of juice that was maybe drinkable or at least safe in large quantities but also vapable too, though it seems probably not.. as mentioned because of the different strengths in flavours etc..

Thats interesting Tom, and I see what you mean.. makes sense. hmm.. good point about the difference in strengths of flavour for the different method too (finding a balance) which would be pretty difficult..though I guess with a nic free ejuice there wouldnt be as much need to be concerned if I get quite a bit in my mouth (which Ive managed to do a few times so far)

and hey, that's a point.. so a nic free juice etc would be safe.. hmm.. somthing I'm aiming for eventually anyway..hmm..just in my attempt at getting the balance right in filling my cartos, Ive managed to get few mouthfulls of luiquid so far, but it tasted nice it seemed natural to just want to digest it sort of thing but don't want to OD on the nic..

Hi Everyone..
Might sound like a strange question, but the few times I've got ejuice on my lip, mouth etc.. I quite liked the sweet taste and being sweet it seems natural to want to lick my lips etc (though I realise this is not really the thing to do)
But it go me thinking is there a type of juice that would be vapable, and safe too if one was to get substantial quantity in their mouth and it ws safe to enjoy the taste too..(obviously nic free etc)..hmm

I was wondering the same today when I took mine out for the first time, I Was checking it every 5 seconds lol.. might buy an ego case but that seems kinda large for the pocket..
I like the ideas in this thread though:)
Also I think it would be nice if there was a kind of lid/top for the mouthpeice etc just feels like it would complete it somehow as well as protect the mouthpeice..

Hi farzooks and glad you found the forum, theyre soo freindly and helpful here.. and well I'm new to all this too and started off with a sky cig, then discovered it was pretty limited, then moved on to a 510 similar to yours (nice looking one by the way) that was soo much better than the sky cig but after a week or so and realising I was really starting to like vaping, and using more and more juice and battery etc, I had to upgrade again (as many have said here) soo.. the ecig type is a brilliant introduction and gave me the opportunity to try out vaping and discover if it was for me and I think nearly all of the cigalikes serve that purpose well, but don't be supprised if you find yourself wanting to upgrade quite soon.. (I was) especially if you get the bug (like i did eh) but it's been pure fun all the way! |
