Argggggggggg just called my dentist as sore gums are well very, very sore - imagine very bad toothache, only snag area where pain is worst has no teeth as its where I had wisdom tooth removed 2 years ago. So call dentist only to be informed my dentist has gone from the surgery and the other dentists are full so I have to find a new dentist - they would have informed me when my next check- up was due, kind of them. So found one not to far away, and downloaded the forms they want filled in so hubby going to go up and hopefully register me, as they will not see you without registration and hoping they can see me tomorrow, otherwise its a trip to Dental hospital which is miles away and they might not see me as no bleeding, swelling or like.
One thing if anything is going to stop me ever going back on the nasties its this, no way in the world would I ever go through this twice.

Being a total newbie I have not got my head round battery sizes or things like that but just want to say your e-cigs do look really nice, the kind of thing you would be happy seeing out and about with, very smart really. Think I will treat myself to a disposable as cannot afford another new kit but would like to see what the taste of your e-liquid is like.

Sadly the adaptor I ordered from Liberty Flights doesn't work - fits of course on the Riva but its to big for the Gamucci. Phoned and spoke to Erica but unfortunately she can't help as she ( as do most people) have no idea what thread the Gamucci is. Oh well I have 4 ( I found I had another one) batteries for the Gamucci so will use up the cartomisors I have left for it - around 20 at least.
I am going to have to go sparing on my Gizwalds Vanilla Tabac as I have put the last in a cartomiser and even though I think its been sent it hasn't arrived and post has been today - I guess two packages was the limit for the postman.
Got to see about a box today for storing my E-Liquids in as I am now proud owner of 9, which considering I only found about about them a couple of weeks ago is not to bad, and have 3 more ordered. Up till now I have just been throwing everything into the Riva box but 30ml bottles are to big to stand up in it and its getting rather full between liquids and cartomisors and have got the atomisor and cartridges ordered now as well so need something bigger.
Is there any special type of box anyone recommends - wood, metal etc or is anything ok so long as it has a lid and no holes? I have got a plastic medicine box that has never used would that be ok?
Just going to try Liqua Original smoke Juice tobacco flavour and see what that is like.
Have a good day everyone and I hope your valentine remembered you, here we usually forget as its our oldest sons birthday ( not how I planned on spending Valentines day that year).

Can't find the atomiser for the gamucci anywhere, did find a pack of new cartridges, but not much use without atomiser, its so small I might have overlooked it. I usually cannot remember what I did put something 5 minutes before never mind 3 weeks so guess there was not much chance of me finding it. Oh I did find I had bought a forth battery for the gamucci, I had forgotten, you got two with the kit and I totally forgot I ordered another two not one, that is what you call forgetful....

Thanks I will be out shopping tomorrow at a shopping centre not far that has Home Bargains in it so will have a look, at the moment I still have about half a bottle of Cordsyl but if I am going to be using it for a bit it certainly will be great if can get it cheaper as its definitely not cheap. Next week when I see the doctor I know she will happily give me some on prescription and as I have a prepay certificate it won't cost me anything - well not until it has to be renewed anyway My doctor has been a brick and never once nagged at me to stop smoking so will be giving her a big surprise when I tell her. I am not going to give in if I can help it, not just for sore gums, am determined I have stopped the nasties never to go back. I guess I cannot complain after smoking for 35 years to have some problems as my body is more used to me smoking than not so I have to expected some problems while body gets used to not getting all the nasties it was used to.

I have the Riva, but don't have an atomiser. Never thought about that can order one so can use it to try. I must dig around as with my first Gamucci it came with an atomisor and cartridges but as I bought cartomisors to use with it I put the atomiser away once the cartridges were used up. Now where did I put it, it was only 3 weeks ago, will go and have a dig around, if I can find it that will save a couple of quid and can just use the gamucci to try out new flavours.......right off to do some digging

Tescos pharmacy sell a disposable e-cig, which might be handy to try to see if you like the set up. You can get disposables on-line, but this you pick up. You might find with being such a light smoker that one of these will be enough to help you stop altogether its £5.99 . I could put the link up to Tesco site but the one on there is different from the one they actual sell in pharmacy in the store. My Tesco s pharmacy have it sitting right at the front of the counter so you cannot miss it. I admit I have not tried them, although do have a couple put aside in a drawer for emergencies. Its called a Nicolites and supposed to be equal to 25 cigarettes so would last your quite a few days. Not saying its right for you but just an idea and something you can pick up locally most likely. Good luck I am a newbie but found once I tried my first e-cig that it was perfect for me, but I smoked 18 a day so quite a bit more than you and so far not touched and hope to never touch a real cigarette again ( the one you set fire to )

Tried another new juice today Freedom Vape Coffee - now that is nice. I wouldn't vape it all day as it makes me want to drink fresh coffee but as an after meal vape its just delicious it really had the nice ground fresh coffee flavour, sore gums aside this is so enjoyable trying the new flavours am very, very slowly realising I do not need to have tobacco flavour all the time. I am still totally enjoying being nastie free, just think how when using them it was always the same flavour year in, year out and never thought how daft that was. I think I read that government is going to make a decision on e-cigs in March 2013.

More help people, gosh where would I be without you all- would have given in and gone back on nasties by now I guess, you are all lifesavers LITERALLY
One of the juices I bought is to me anyway foul, now does this mean I have to throw the cartomisor away or can I clean it somehow to get the juice out of it.
It would be handy to know as at the moment I am putting my different juices in a new cartomisor so rapidly running out of them as only got 10 cartomisors for Riva and only two left unused.
Note to self instead of ordering more juices order more cartomisors lol
I know I read somewhere someone was saying menthol is good for something and I have menthol crystals in keep them for when anyone has a cold) how would i add them to a cartomisor to see if it will help the flavour, just throw one crystal in or dilute it in the e-juice
Thanks

Thanks have ordered just a couple of VG juices from Liberty-Flights so will see if they make a difference but going by what have found online I doubt it, just poor old gums having to deal with normal oxygen and blood supplies after such a long, long time. Gum disease unfortunately is problem in my family, my mum had to have ever tooth out at age 50, teeth all perfect but not gums and was almost paranoid about oral hygiene, her mum and sister were the same and lost theirs and none of them smoked. My sisters and me have had problems as well - girls in the family have bad gums and boys have crumbling back teeth. I have so far kept my teeth, but as dentist always said its just a matter of time, and me smoking was not helping, so now either gum health will eventually improve or I will lose them all, its something I have almost accepted . Even my daughter has been having gum problems and she has never smoked either ( I am only one).
Thanks everyone for your input, pain seems to have settled at a constant level now and mouth just feels very uncomfortable, as if teeth are being squeezed, I think most likely that is gums are actually starting to thicken up due to better blood flow and so will be normal size and its something I am just going to have to get used to.
Just going to stay on soups over next few days to give them a chance, as I said can afford to just live on fluids for a bit. Just thankful the horrible hunger I had first week has gone then it really would be hard to cope.
You have all put my mind at ease thank you........

Thanks everyone, sorry am so late replying. I have to go to doctors next week so will ask then until then will keep on with the Cordsyl and salt water rinises, plus usually brushing and stick to soup. It most likely is my poor old gums not knowing how to deal with so much oxygen and fresh blood after me smoking for so long.
I know I sound daft saying I would be happy to vape without the vapour but so long as I get a good hit and taste am not bothered about clouds of vapour.

I as yet have not tried any of the fruit flavours. I think it is just normal and as I get Gingivtis from time to time its just worse than most people get when stopping nasties. I am going to order a couple of VG based e-liquids just to see if that makes a difference, but throat is not sore and no rashes so I doubt now its PG causing it. I hadn't gone for just VG as I don't want much vapour but if it helps I will gladly put up with the vapour. I actually wish I could vape without the vapour, sounds daft doesn't it

Thanks, I see it is mentioned on stop smoking sites but they talk more of bleeding than pain, and there is not much bleeding just pain and feeling they are on fire ( that is mentioned), but just wasn't sure if I was aggravating my gums with the PG - I have no intention of stopping vaping no matter what pain I get, I am not going back to nasties, but wondered if I should try something that is high VG as all the e-liquids I have at the moment are higher PG. Living on soups for a bit will not do me any harm at all.
