I'm kind of old fashioned in thinking it wrong to impugn people's integrity without evidence. New to ecigs, most of what I have read from the vaping community have been accusations of public representatives and officials, even the British Medical Association, being in the pockets of big pharma or big tobacco. Meanwhile, big pharma and big tobacco have been getting their opinions across to the people who matter, i.e. the people being accused of corruption by the vaping community. Isn't that what successful lobbyists do? No fear of them using insults and allegations as a means of persuasion. Failures tend to blame everybody but themselves. I sincerely wish you luck with the campaign but will stockpile supplies just in case. You must be joking about Big Tobacco not corrupting as many public officials as it can, when it deems it necessary or expedient. There doesn't even need to be money changing hands - plenty of low-level corruption goes on with promises of positions, grant money, influence peddling and just general back-rubbing. Ye gods, look at the filthy, corrupt history of BT in the US and other places.

And how, exactly, do you "make your own" when you can't get hold of nicotine?? I'd grow my own tobacco and extract it. Simples. People have been growing their own tobacco in greenhouses since WWI, because of rationing back then. There was a steady but growing movement of GYO over the past several years, I found on the web. A couple of years back the UK govt tried to regulate it, but I've no doubt there are still plenty of people doing it That was another thing that had me wondering if there was an EU impetus behind it - because of Big Tobacco sticking its oar in, or the ninnies in the Smoking Is Evil lobby.

The thing we should all be a little worried about is the 15/02/2013 60 meter (or 197 feet) asteroid possible impact... Like the one that just missed us (just missed in astronomical terms) a few years ago? Nobody saw it coming and it was already past us when the astronomers went "What the FARK?!" Thirty thousand miles off, it was - a mere whisker of a ba'hair in its path somewhere out there could have had it slamming into us before we knew it was happening. Yep, scary shit all right. <evil grin>

I'm not any better off in terms of money in the bank, as I keep spending the money I save from the fags on other stuff. On the other hand, I'm steadily getting on with building and fixing with that cash and it's no real strain, so it does make a lot of difference.

Just filled a Vivi Nova with a mil of VE Fruit Mix, a mil of Cherry and a mil of diy DKS Banana. Ohhhhhh.... it smells like marzipan; it's lovely. Unfortunately the vape experience is a bit bland - I think I might have been over-doing it today and my taste buds are overworked.

You aren't a twit or a plonker Ballsy Glad to hear you have found a 30 ml bottle you had steepimg, but wondering if there is anything you can do to turn around the juices you have "made a mess of"? I never toss them - keep them and gradually blend them in as I go and find other flavours they'll go with.

I love heat in the winter; can't stand cold fingers and toes, especially with circulation to my extremities not being as good as it used to be. With the price of fuel though, what I'm tending to do these days is spot heating - use 250W and 150W IR lamps and point them at where I'm sitting, or tools I'll be using or the workbench. And thermals, of course - M&S once again to the rescue.

I just took delivery of a used Metz 45 flash - one I always wanted, but they used to be a hellish price because they were in the province of the pros. The flash is in nice condition, used but quite clean and not grubby. It shows signs of having been used professionally and who knows how many wedding snaps it's taken. All of this I knew from the seller - it's 30 years old, had been used professionally then had been left in its box for the last decade when superceded by a newer model.
But, the smell. It's not filthy dirty and doesn't honk like a wet dog, but it's a slight whiff that's just annoying. I'm sure I wouldn't have noticed it when I smoked; not at all. It's kinda like a BO smell - actually, that's probably what it is; a flash is gripped in the hand for hours and in all weathers, including hot sweaty days. Oh well, time to get the Febreeze out and /or wipe it down with sodium bicarb.
