I would have had a go, but I've had avatars turned off for so long I've forgotten what anyone looks like by now.

Seriously minging in style, but so bad taste it's almost good. Not much bloody use if you're having a night-time stroll through the woods with the flashlight on and fancy a vape - you have to dismantle it first.

If my bank starts to pester me on my cellphone, they'll be getting very short and sharp answers. Best of luck to them finding me on FB or any other anti-social networking site - I'm quite obscured on those.

I'm thinking back to when, as a kid, I discovered that diy honey/chocolate Rice Crispy cakes were easy to make. That, and rhubard/apple crumble. Luckily, I never really developed all that much of a sweet tooth, which is just as well, as I ate far too much other stuff anyway.

Reminds me of a strange bloke I pulled up next to at the lights in Lunnon - head to toe in yellow waterproofs he was, and I could tell that underneath those he was well padded up. Only thing was, it was one of the hottest, mankiest July days in Lunnon that I could recall. I asked him what the score was but just got something incoherent and incomprehensible back - it might have been anything from an explanation to a request that I might go perpetuate my genes.

In an attempt to appear posh, she's simply shown herself up as a dreadful oik.

Last two nights it's been unbearablein this room and tonight it hit 30degC. I'm considering opening the loft hatch to allow the hot air out. Never used to be like that - before I created the back room and insulated the ceiling of the front one, it was max 24 in here and all the hot air disappeared up the roof vent (place used to be an industrial building with lots of ventilation).

Main ingredient is kerosene, with some light oils.

Even the Romans, the Greeks, and probably the middle-aged inhabitants of Ur, were complaining about the young wans "they don't show respect, they draw rude graffitt, they cheek us, whatever are we going to do"?

I never knew you could get msg on ebay... Well you learn something new every day. Chinese wholesale supermarkets sell it by the 1L, 5L and 25L drum. Not very expensively, either. Enough in one of those to keep a family restaurant going for a week, I would think. That opened my eyes to how much of the stuff I've consumed over the years and I started to realise that many of my fast-food and junk-food habits were based on the drug-dependency that MSG creates - the drug in this case not being the MSG, but the food itself. Ever wondered why, after finishing a Chinese, you fancy another one shortly after? That's the MSG talking. Whenever I get hit by unexpected cravings for something I go back over the packets and bottles I've opened in the course of the day and always find something that's contained it. Just a teaspoon's worth will have me hungry later on.

(from the Guardian article) 'KFC' mix 1 teaspoon ground oregano 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon ground sage 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried marjoram 1 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon onion salt 1 teaspoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons Accent (MSG) I might give that a try, indeed. The MSG will be left out, though. I knew there was some reason I was damn near addicted to KFC - MSG and me don't go well together.

This is a real bug bear for me, as im a shop assistant i get this all the time. Its so rude, they come up to the till still talking on their phone, without a thank you and just walk off That's just an illustration of the fact that most people aren't capable of multi-tasking in any real sense and those are the very ones who think it's perfectly safe to be piloting a ton of metal down the road while gabbing to their mates/kids/rellies on their infernal device. It's just rude when in social interactions (even shopping) and it's nothing short of bloody dangerous on the road. It can be easily and cheaply and properly and legally (and safely?) solved by using a bluetooth earpiece. Well, no; as I said above, very few people can actually do it, headpiece or not. Apart from that, a Bluetooth earpiece makes you look like a cock.

I placed an order on the 26th of June the HK post don't recognise the tracking number... wonder if and when mine will arrive The China Post and HK post tracking sites seem to be ballsed just now - two items weren't showing up at all then one popped through my door today after 3 weeks in limbo, the other is on its way for sure, but could be anywhere between HK and here. I expect them when I see them.
