This is based on a recipe in this list.An amazing absinthe and minty flavour - has really got better from around 3 weeks steeping, as it was a bit harsh at first. 6.00% Absinthe (DV) 1.00% SWEETENER (Perfumers Apprentice) 0.80% Peppermint (Perfumers Apprentice) 0.75% Vanilla Tahiti (Flavour Creative (Flavour Arts)) 0.25% Koolada 5% (Perfumers Apprentice) I used the Vanilla Tahiti second time around to give it a bit more sweetness, though it does not seem to show through a lot, I reckon any vanilla would do as would any Absinthe - though I find the DV gives things a real depth, if I used another absinthe I'd probably use less sweetener. Apparrently it's called this because it's said to change it's charachter when used in a low OHM dripping set up or at high watts - can't say I've seen much difference but then I dont do 100watt type set ups! And a label

Just mixed all the stuff I'm taking on holiday - all 30ml: Fevertree Elderflower Tonic - VTA Tonic and Flavorah Elderflower HH Northern Lights - with 1% of FW Licorice to boost it a little Death in the Afternoon (DV Absinthe and FA Champagne) Dragons Blood (Dragonfruit, Strawberry and Creams) Sparkling Apple and Peach Wine (based on al ELR recipe) Here's hoping I don't get it all confiscated when entering Singapore or Thailand!

izan, djs, phtumshk, When I tried this it came apart fine but when recoiling it I found I just could not see well enough to get the wire into the very tiny holes for it in the bottom of chamber - because I could not even see them! I got one in by feel but the other just would not go. I am getting some new glasses soon and that might might help - but the holes are difficult to see because the whole thing is transparent, so it may not. Also, using a thinner SS wire (32awg) means the legs bend with hardly any pressure. Had a look to see how he did it on the video and there is a convenient cut at this point - it just goes straight to the coils being in - he was using thicker wire but I wonder if he struggled and did not want to let on...

I just got the Salix, phtumshk, and I am liking it, too. Very nice MTL option with the smaller airflow insert, but also very adjustable without. I see you have a Gloom, too - great match, I'd say. I also got the Convergent style atty at the same time - that is also excellent for MTL but overall probably has less airflow options than the Salix.

Got this after Perpetua recommended. Mixed it up at 15% with 50/50 PG/VG, left it 3 or 4 days to steep. I'm liking it very much, though I reckon I could probably mix it @ 12% and it would be plenty strong for me. Slightly expensive @ 3.95 a 10ml bottle with a higher % mix needed, but much cheaper than the e-liquid! The blurb for it says: 'Liquorice and the freshness of red and white grape punch, followed by a subtle undertone of mint and menthol' I am getting a menthol and a touch of mint on top, only a touch of liquorice, and I originally thought the grape was blackcurrant, I watched a video review of the e-liquid link and this is roughly how I experienced it. It is a complex flavour and I find with anything like this that other flavours often come out after vaping a while - so far I've only had a 6ml sampler, but I will certainly be mixing up more. In terms of mixes I reckon this this would be a nice addition to gin, aniseed or absinthe, any floral/herby/spicy flavour would go well with it, but essentially it's a standalone. If you like something with menthol and berry fruit that is complex, this could be a goer. Thanks for the heads up Perpetua

Thanks, ghostrider , will do. Your reviews are much appreciated and I realise you have been carrying the reviews board a lot recently! The problem I have is that I buy and try so many concentrates and I always mean to live with them a bit before I review them, then I never get around to it.... I think I'll just do what I did here and go with first impressions!

Got this in a sale and thought I'd give my first impressions for anyone who fancies trying it. Their website says 'A milky flavour carefully blended with the sweetness of freshly cut fruit ... the perfect continental all day breakfast!' I get the milk, and the (gentle but noticeable) citrus fruit, 'm also getting a slight cereal flavour from it as an undertone. It does have a bit of a breakfast-y feel about it. I mixed at 5% in 50/50 VG/PG and it was strong - could probably go down to 4% (for me anyway) It's nice flavour as a standalone, but does not float my boat in a big way. If the milky citrusy subtle flavour profile is your thing then it might hit the spot, but I'm not rushing to make up a big batch anytime soon. I imagine it might get easily overpowered in mixes but could be a good addition if you were making a cereal fruit type mix. This recipe from ELR uses it and I can see this mix working out quite well if you like the custardy fruit thing - though I'd probably use Cap or, better still, FA's own premium custard in it.

Can't see me not liking it with the flavour profile and the reccomendations, but you'll get 5ml each if I don't! (unless you and Perpetua want to arm wrestle for it or something!) I see they say 15% to mix it at, what % do you use? 15% on the ready made has worked for me beedee . . . . . but I've no doubt I cope could with it being a wee bit stronger. I went in at 20% beedee just like mine a bit stronger, as far as arm wrestling Mandy I think I will give it a miss, have you seen the Muscles built like German Shot putter. It's due to those heavy mods I've lifted with great regularity over the years Tony! I declare Perpetua the winner by a no show. Mandy>>>> <<<<< tcg69 . Sadly no prize, I got it yesterday and just did a lick test - very nice!

There's also 5% discount off all concentrates using ELFC5 . . . . . tcg69 , beedee !
In addition to Gins Addiction I really enjoyed Yellow Biafra, Northern Lights . . . . Sweet Prudence was a bit something and nothing for my tastes and the one I'd really avoid if you're sensitive to Butyric Acid, is Sergeant Vapour - that just tasted of baby sick to me. Thanks for the tag, Perpetua, I ordered Gins Addiction, Northern Lights and they had a sale on so got Morning Sun FlavourArt (1.50) and Plum by Inawera (1.00) Cant wait to try the Gins Addiction.

A walk on the dark side - Frankie Boyle on Donald Trump: 'Trump’s nothing like Hitler. There’s no way he could write a book.' 'You can actually make your own Trump policies by going through the incinerator at the Daily Mail and picking through the dust for anything they thought might get them prosecuted.' 'His core demographic? Possibly men whose holiday destinations would significantly overlap with a list of missing women.'
