IMO the new Pico Mods are not as nearly as well made as the old ones - I had a Pico for two years and recently lost it and had to replace - the new one is already looking old after only 3-4 months... My original black Pico squonk is also two years old and looks brand new, I bought a second one a year ago, it is not as heavy and just feels a bit less robust.

Useful thread, HaroldTheBarrel, and thanks for the heads up on the restocking of the atto replacement chip phtumshk and Get Off My Cloud. My Atto clone chip is still ok but I have bent that contact back into place so many times it's bound to go sooner or later - now I'll have a spare when it does...

I am liking Root Beer as a vape as well as a drink, ghostrider1971, I use Liquid Barn @ 4% with a drop or two of coolant - nice!

Have been using this flavour for a long time and never get bored with it. Billed as: "A delectable balance of bold flavours; vanilla, caramel, wintergreen and licorice" - I get all of this and more - a bit of sassafras and a very slight root beer flavour (which is probably the Wintergreen - an ingredient often used on toothpaste!). Before using this I tried several - including L&T and CCW - they are not bad but this beats them hands down, so much more subtle and not as sweet. I use it @ 10% with 1% sweetener and a very slight touch of Koolada (I'm talking watered down by 50% and using .25%) - magic! If you like Dandelion and Burdock, Root Beer or even Coke it's well worth a try. I use have used this with Dandelion and Burdock (just to liven up the D&B) - but it's really a standalone.

Mixed - 24/5/18 (No complaints about steep time!!!) Ratio - 70 VG Nic - 4mg Concentrate - 10% Tested on - Pico mega/Cleito v.1 @ 31.5w (0.4ohm)What the website says - "A new Tobacco, consisting of Butterscotch, Caramel, Creams and fantastic RY4 Tobaccos " Well, this was a pleasant back of the wardrobe find yesterday - had literally forgotten about this one.... Although this is listed under the NETs on the BCL website, I think this is perhaps a "generic" tobacco based concentrate but this does not detract from a rather nice juice. I'm getting quite a thick biscuit flavour from this one - not sure if its butterscotch or caramel but definitely a nice sweet (but not too sweet) flavour after the biscuit and then an "OK" tobacco. To be honest, the smell from the bottle was absolutely stunning. The actual vape doesnt quite live up to that but it is still very palatable. When I was on my RY4 quest a few months back I think this is what I was looking for - a sweeter hit and then a smaller tobacco hit. This could be a nice one with a dram watching Val Doonican or (for me) standing on the cold terraces with a cup of Styrofoam coffee screaming at my (rather hopeless) non-league football team.... I haven't bought from BCL for absolutely ages but have seen some rather tempting new flavours on their site (Blueberry or apple tobacco, anyone?) A very merry Christmas to you all - thank you for the kind words on my humble reviews over the year I get this with many concentrates, ghostrider. I have read somewhere that 'nature identical' flavour makers use a technology that duplicates 'smelling' the flavour and pinpoints it's chemical composition - I wonder if this is why...

Got this off one of the lists of clone recipes posted here - a similar mix is also posted on ELR called Black Widow. When I first tried it, it was a bit harsh, but came back off three weeks holiday and tried it again, am now loving it. 10.00% Absinthe (DV) 2.29% Black Tea (The Flavour Apprentice) 1.52% Ecto Cooler (FlavourWest) 1.52% SWEETENER (Perfumers Apprentice) The tea gives the absinthe a tannic acid bite and the ecto cooler is a lightly fruity cool note in the background. The other recipes have higher % as in 14% absinthe, 4% tea and 2% each for the others, this would be a bit strong for me!

Being a big fan of the Billet Box so I'm thinking of getting one of these: The claim is that they enable a BB to hold 5ml of juice and reduce condensation. On sale at several Chinese sites including Fastech for around $30. There is a video review of the original Here which is pretty fulsome in it's praise - seen somewhere that reckons it IS mainly for restricted DL - but, looking at the airflow, an MTL might be possible. Am liking the look of it!

Sorry to hear you were unwell linzmac13. Seems to be some evidence that vaping anything with oil or wax in it creates an environment in the lung favourable for the bacteria or viruses that cause pneumonia, The cases I have read about were people doing MTL day all every day for some time on ultra cheap Chinese juices with oil rich flavourings, the evidence for this is thin, but all evidence is thin on vaping. There’s also a theory that PG being a bacteria killer actually might help to reduce the risk of pneumonia. If you are vaping juices from well Regulated countries, it seems very unlikely your illness had anything to do with vaping! If you want something a bit easier on the throat hit high VG juices are a good way to go.
