I managed to get it fully charged, but everytime I remove or add the clearomiser the battery is becoming loose at the top. I don't know if I should just live with it because it is working or return it. Have you got a picture of the problem, as Chrissie has said if this was bought from Vapeescape then Jason will sort the issue out, their customer services is awesome ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Welcome Smithy - the darkside of vaping awaits you, a Provari, a Penelope, a GGTS, all of them? ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/V_yPuiwBICIqOziN7BjO.gif)

I have had a small altercation on a bus in Rhodes where a lady was telling the bus in a very loud voice how she had been stung by Ryan Air for her baggage allowance (kind of shows me she doesn't read anything if she managed to be over by £600 worth!!) and how angry she was. She then turned to me who with Penny and Provari in 18650 mode was creating subtle clouds (no one near me I hasten to add bar my kids and missus) and said to me "smoking is not permitted on here", to wish I replied "I know" and carried on. I was going to leave it there but pointed out that what was being produced was harmless water Vapour and she got back in her box. I have vaped everywhere, the pub (as I get through my pints the clouds tend to get bigger and bigger but no one minds), airport, airport hotel, almost everywhere. Where I draw the line (as I did when smoking) is where there are other peoples children (because you will always get parents backs up) and where people are eating food, even though it's allowed I wouldn't want wafts of Cocomel whilst tucking into my grub ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

And unlike smoke vapour dissipates quickly so you shouldn't feel the need to go outside. I can vape in the pub all night creating plumes of vapour and no one minds because it doesn't linger (and smells pretty decent as well) ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Addict - The twist is effectively just a battery with a base you can turn (like a volume knob) to turn up or down the voltage and create more or less vapour. Because this is only a battery you need to screw something on the top you can add juice to to actually create the vapour. So I have linked to a popular tank system which effectively you just unscrew, pour juice in, screw back and vape, nice and easy. The other things I linked to are carts, these again just screw onto your Twist (like the Elite cartridges you were using) and you can fill them up with whatever juice you like. Again having some laying around just in case of a tank failure is always a good idea. As an example (ignore the tank, this is just my favourite tank): ![](http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb42/globalbloke/Battery_expl.jpg) Hope that helps ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) There is a golden rule in vaping, backups for your backups, so even though you may get a Provari anyway, these twists will give you a great introduction and when you decide to upgrade to a Provari you can use these as a backup just in case you lose it or break it so it's not money lost ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

You know what? I'm not sure the Riva deluxe kit fits here, if you budget allows then drop straight into a Provari but if you would like to see the cheaper option first I would get a couple of Twists (get the 1000mah ones, they will last the day): www.vapeescape.co.uk/joyetech-ego-c-twist-vv~367Why? Well it seems as a 50 a dayer you will want the ability to crank the flavour up if you are having a difficult moment and having something that allows you to control the voltage may tick the boxes better for you. El Torro gets several votes but just remember that taste is hugely subjective so you will need to see what's right for you. As for delivery systems, there are so many, get some Boge carts, nice and easy to fill up and a Vivi Nova and see how you get on. Later on down the line we will introduce you to more complex systems that give you that ultimate control. I know it's not the mini but my standard Provari never comes out of 18650 mode - if it did then I would be changing batteries twice a day ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/V_yPuiwBICIqOziN7BjO.gif)

I used to live in Ipswich, and funnily enough spent a lot of my younger years out near Stowupland (Grandparents used to live there in a lovely house called "Little Meadow"), fantastic area of the country. I would have joined in but I moved down South 7 years ago! Sorry, random ![;D](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/uKg77DgrQpkBFJJN7U0P.gif)

Benny - just a few minutes (say 3/4)
Jay - To be honest it has completely cleared the bloody thing out, the juice control & mouthpiece appeared to dump a fair bit of crap as well. Worth doing IMHO!!

Ceramic was left in and yes everything went in but leaving o rings out. Leave it all to cool down and then I removed the ceramic from the housing and gave it a secondary clean with some hot water and some kitchen towel.
Vape has improved, flavour improved and the colour of the water in the pan tells me it did a proper job of de-crapping the bits!!

Penny wasn't performing very well, tight draw, burnt taste and none could be adjusted to help. I rewicked it three times and still wasn't happy. So Blakey suggested taking it to bits and boiling it (minus o rings of course) - well that's what I did, even had a spare ceramic just in case and I'm glad to report it is back to the way it was when I got her!!!!! I only use Penny to vape with and it's a right pain when your main tank is on the blink, so I can defo recommend a boil up with her every now and again, completely rejuvenates the experience! Cheers Blakey ![;D](//storage.proboards.com/2973975/images/uKg77DgrQpkBFJJN7U0P.gif)
