SteveF I ordered a pack of these they came in the 180's and I found them ok, I found this way of wicking the Muji works a dream, once you stretch the pad out it no longer feels coarse, just an idea  Scottish Roll I have two packs of the 'new' muji which bought before this thread started. I tried this technique last night. It works! Think I actually understand why people dig dripping now, I always thought it was a bit of a faff. But I can walk around the house with a dripper, go back to my desk when I need to top up. I think the new muji just needs teasing... |

I use TFA Cola from Darkstar. £3.50 for 30ml. I like a Raspberry/Cola mix...prevents vapour's tongue...

I had a Nextgen (clone) die on me with similar symptoms. Even with no coil it was showing a slight resistance. I destroyed the centre post trying to remove it.
I've since bought an SXK Le Zephyr, and absolutely love it. Best MTL vape i've ever had...

I use a monster with a bell cap or nano cap in a LPG every day for dog walks. Fits in the condom pocket on my jeans. Don't know anything more pocket friendly...

I have three Aromamizers. I love them (although been thinking of thinning them since I discovered mesh) - I upgraded them all to V2s. I found better flavour from horizontal coils. It seemed that the heat from verticals accumulated upwards, and I'd get a slight burning at the top... Stick an upright coil wrapped round mesh sitting on a bed of cotton covering the holes. Worked out well in my clone.  Like it. Single coil? |

I upgraded my Koopors for better battery life, better screen and to avoid the fire delay. Never fancied trying nickel or titanium, but once I had the stainless mode there I had to have a play. I find it useful for drippers, but then only if you have a simple build. I've just discovered fused claptons, so it doesn't work there.
Recently got into mesh. TC working really well on a Le Zephyr...

yeah that's pretty much the issue, its a lot worse if you had primed the wick since the juice burns off before the wick catchs fire ..... it also does the same thing (erupts into flames) in power mode when fitted with a ss coil, there must be a feedback problem that stops limiting from working properly because it seems like its pulsing 200w through the ss coil regardless of settings....... it doesn't do it in ni200 tc mode though that works the same as any other mod ive tried it in .... either as you say its a duff batch of plus mods or its dodgy firmware, I rather suspect that's why smok created a whole new spin off company rather than carrying their brand openly on the koopor mod ... stupid thing is they locked out the ability to upgrade the firmware to needing to be sent back to the factory or buying an upgrade link device, oh well the power mode works on a1 (of which I have lots) oh well I don't suppose it will last that long before it needs repairs and then I might investigate exactl what the problem is / I have 4 Koopor Minis. I bought a programmer and built a cable to update the firmware. Currently doing the rounds of Mini owners on POTV. Your welcome to borrow it if you can find a firmware image for the Plus |
