I wanted to pop in and sort of 'finish' the thread (what, you thought it was all ready? lol). In the end I just wasn't getting on with the Plato as well as I was the Pico so I ordered another Pico and NautX set-up with the 4ml tank adapter and will be selling the Plato. Pico/NautX 4ml and I, well, we just get on!  . After the steady filling of cartos, only having to fill twice a day and one battery change is a joy. I think I may get another complete set-up to just put away as spare. Here's hoping these bits serve me for years to come, I got there in the end but it was quite traumatic!  Thanks again to everyone that helped along the way, fab group you are! |

jtc How and when? Elaborate please The leaking was down to it needing to be tightened, I didn't realise but changing tips had loosened it. I changed the coil and it vapes 'ok' but now is way crackly and noisier than it was, say, a few days after I'd first used it.

I did wonder about the coil, but it seems that most people get well over 2 weeks with theirs and mine won't be 2 weeks in until tomorrow...that said I'm vaping 70/30 and have read that 60/40 - 50/50 is better for coil life. Don't know as this is my first go with these. I'll wait until the juice is lower and then have a go at my first coil change! |

I've been using my Plato for over a week now, getting along just fine, then last night it was quite noisy and gurgly and at there was juice coming out of the airflow at the bottom. Not much and if I hadn't looked I wouldn't have noticed it, but enough to show when I pressed a bit of kitchen roll against it. Today it seems better but still has periods where it's noisier than it was, then it's good...and still just the tiniest bit of juice showing at the airflow. What've I done? |

Mrs striker has vaped nothing but Cuban supreme from FA for three years. About a year back she took to adding a drop of menthol to it. For her plato she'll add 10 drops of menthol to a 50ml bottle for easy filling of the device. A coil lasts her 2/3 weeks with 50/50 juice. From your recent posts re: my upgrading, sounds as if Mrs striker and myself are similar style/taste vapers! |
