Have you got a good connection, what's the ohms reading on the iStick ? Yes, Greg, it's showing 2.4 ohms, 4.0v, on 7w. I just took the drip tip off and could only drip 1 drop of liquid directly onto it ... the next drop rolled off. But I got some vapour and flavour! (Had kept tip on and put 4-5 drops in first, onto 'bridge', but zero).

You'll do better to let the bridge absorb your eliquid first Kitty, before you try using it . . . although I may be too late telling you this! Any atomiser, coil & wick combination are best left for around 20 minutes to become saturated before you try using them. If you've over-dripped your 306 and it's gurgly, blow it through onto a piece of vapers kitchen towel before you fire it up again. 306's do also take what I call a little time to ' bed in ' before they're at their best.

Thank you Perpetua I'm doing great with it. Found that using it at the watts advised was fine, and actually ended up putting in 6-7 drops ... great vapour/flavour, and very easy to clean by blowing excess out as you've said. Did 3 tastes one after another. All good! Thanks very much for advising about this, as it was certainly great to not need to half fill tanks and clean them!

im surprised the op can run a 1.2 ohm coil that high(34w) the way i look at the what power to use with what coils is,the lower the resistance the more power is needed to heat the coil is the i stick vv/vw and the op is running it at 3.4 volts and not watts because that would make more sence Sorry I missed your post. I'm so new to this, decoy, but, yes, when I fitted the 1.2 ohm coil, I could go up to 34w with the iStick 50w ... great taste. I'm just glad the iStick does the sums, lol; I leave that to it and just experiment with how high I can go and, moreso, where the best flavour/vapour is. It happened to be 34w in this case.

It is good to see a new member accepting the advice given as you said VapingBad. Better than the usual eh? It's great to see you asking the relevant questions - more so to see you taking the advice given and applying it in a sensible way. Too many times we have seen peeps wanting to get straight into this to the extreme without any knowledge. Great for you to ask us first kittyvape.

Thanks so much Ripshod Most of all I'm so happy to have discovered vaping and such a genuinely nice community here, and the difference that is making to my health, plus it's so interesting and exciting to learn and get things right. Important to learn steadily, and I hope to be able to help new people in the future too. Thank you very much that I can ask. Really appreciate.

I just made 4 bottles of juice, yay and used the dripper to test them ... great! ... and wanted to ask how best to clean the dripper. Is it safe to soak it in Milton for 15 minutes along with other stuff, or is cleaning it out through blowing excess out enough? How long do the drippers tend to last too, if used a few times a week?

I think the answer to that question is 'yes', kittyvape, but having never used one I'm not too sure. I'm sure someone else will be along soon who can answer more informedly than I. When your skills are up to it, you should treat yourself to a 'real' dripper with a DIY coil and wick. The difference between the Bauway/Cisco (not wure which one you got in the end without reading the front end of this thread!) and a good dripper is simply amazing. I'm currently using a Plume Veil dripper with a cotton wick at 25w on my MVP3 with some Butterscotch Custard from Yorkshire Vaper, and the flavour is immense, coupled with huge plumes of vapour. You can easily buy premade coils from Fasttech, although I personally find that the making of the coil is easier than the installation! Once in place though, a coil will last easily 6 weeks with an occasional dry-burn and rewick, which only takes a couple of minutes once you know the procedure. Get saving (although from Fasttech, it will cost less than a tenner!).

Will note down what you use, ready for when I'm at that stage, and look forward to learning those skills and the mega-vaping, plus get saving! 6 weeks coil certainly sounds great.

Naughty girl for not giving them some time to steep! Until you find a really noticeable drop off in flavour, I'd be content with just giving the 306 a blow through . . . it really isn't necessary to be cleaning an atomiser like this every few days. For a deeper clean, then I'd give it an overnight soak in some Bicarbonate of Soda - my 306's last for weeks, if not months.
