Thank you to Hanow for 3 lovely cards which arrived this morning. That's makes them 50p each including P&P, which must be the bargain of the century

Scylla - glad they arrived safely hunnie. I would list more, but I think you can only gain one ebay brownie point per week from a seller. I may have that wrong of course - because I have terrible problems getting my head around the ebay rules.

Incidentally, I listed two cards originally to help out another poster who needed to get up to her 10! But before she got to it, someone else came along and purchased. I got a lovely message from that buyer yesterday, thanking me, saying how delighted she was, and that she would be looking out for more! Obviously very lovely of her to have gone to the trouble to say a personal thank you, but it made me chuckle. I had only shoved them on to help out anyone looking to get to their 10 - and now I am getting requests!

It's MDCC this weekend - so Chaldon will have things listed (I assume), as shall I for Chaldon and Boxer Rescue. It's also a free listing weekend.

I shall stick a few more of my cards on my account as a BIN - with proceeds supporting the above two charities. So anyone needing more ebay Brownie points, take a look. On ebay I am Jasperminnie2003. If you do buy, and are here under another guise - do let me know it is you. xxxx

god have i had a mare with ebay the last 2 days.
we have not sold on there for a couple of years.
the wife put on some bits and when i reviewed them they had the auctiva gallery above the description and there counter below it.
this made the ad look silly and for the buyer it would be sort of hard for him to actually see the item description, unless he really looked.
i managed to edit some listings using the html editor, but some had bids so could not be edited.
i had closed my auctiva account when they started charging, so assumed it had all been closed.
after hours of searching the web i finally got some help from the ebay forums well at least i think i have, i wont know until i list some more items.
my reason for posting here is that when you do a google search for answers they link you too the ebay forum/community site. the problem is all the links are now deleted, or at least the ones i needed were.
has anyone got any tips on good free auctiva type sites, to make better looking listings, or any cost cutters in general for ebay.

Maybe someone could ask fishinahat to pop over here and advise Raggy? She (our Migsie, who has lapsed her activity on All-About ) is a big book seller on eBay and is very knowledgable all round, dripping common sense too *sigh of envy*

Raggy, are you selling anything cheap I can buy? OR - would you like to put up a 99p + P&P free listing and I'll buy it for the feedback and you can keep it?

ive had an email from auctiva,(which i closed at least a year ago) stating that my ebay token has expired, so hopefully it will disappear now.
the wife is selling some designer kids clothes, our feedback is 100% on about 120 transactions, so no need to bump it really, thanks anyway scylla.
i still buy the odd bit off of there, i just got peeved off with the rules and the charges when your selling anything.

A bit late to this party, have been catching up for over an hour.

Scylla, you'll need 11 FB to be able to post any more than 10 posts a day either on the boards or in any groups - was surprised at that one.

I've never used Auctvia Raggy so can't be much help with them, if you want to put additional piccies on the body of a listing you can use PB for freebie pics, write your description as per then click on HTML, then C&P the PB html and you're done.

O and there's a free listing weekend coming up, assuming you're not a business seller, cos they never get nuffink.

ive sussed the PB thing, but thanks.
its not actually me doing it, its the wife and daughter in law.
to be honest my dogs got more idea than the pair of them lol.
i keep trying to show them, but!!!!!!!!! no, they know what there doing.
they have only just worked out the digi camera and how to get them on the pc.
they now been at it for 3 days and have around 6 items on.
most didnt have enough postage to cover signed for parcels etc etc etc.
so i then have too login with my lappy and edit the bloody lot, take out the auctiva code, because they cant be bothered too delete it before writing the description.
its took me yonks to get and keep a decent rep on there, i can see these getting it knock down in a week lol.
