I'd be going mental Chris if I was in their position - the new photo album facility is actually easier and an improvement on the old, the only improvement I can find - that's precious little consolation to those guys.

Scylla, I used to post a lot on Q&A several years ago - mainly about security issues. Talking of which, there is a new security issue with eBay groups. Private groups can be accessed via searching ids : -

Scylla - Caution is known to me - and like you had a nil posting ID. She has had to build up her total in order to comply/post! Also, like you, she went making minor purchases, only to find that a number of those vendors didn't bother to leave her any FB.

For anyone in an eBay group that wants to post pics directly from Photobucket - here's how (courtesy of the poster cee-dee) : -

Pick an image. Right click and "view image".

Highlight that image by holding the left mouse button down and dragging over the image until it "goes a bit Blue" then let go.

Use Ctrl +C to copy (DON'T right click).

Go to your message box here and place the cursor where you want the pic and Ctrl + V to paste (DON'T right click).

It works, even in the groups where the attachment facility isn't working.

I thought that Caution must've got a new posting ID because I don't particularly remember her from the old boards, yet I could see she was "experienced & revered" - I CAM'd her about my probs, that's why she kindly started the lock-out thread.

I must simply have a really bad memory - it's getting worse and worse, I can't find anything once I've put it down

I am going to puff my chest out here. I was the first person to mention 'copy & paste' over there!!

I explained it to Caution, when I nicked her smilies 'cos I couldn't use my usual method - I then explained to her how I did it!!!

I was moaning because I couldn't use my own smilies just the stupid ones supplied, so did an experiment doing C&P from my favourite sites not using links - then proved to Caution that it could be done.

Perpy what browser are you using? I mainly use firefox but changed back to IE 8 & found this workaround : -

Left click on the pic in PB so it enlarges. Then Right click & choose Copy, back in the eBay forum/group use the ctrl & V

Firefox mainly Chris and the attachments have worked perfectly on the boards, but in a group the wheel just keeps going round and round!

I'll try that up there!
