Oh & the pics of them will make your mind boggle even more Lettie My GG Grant, next to a mini DSE901 (& with Isaac getting in on the act ) And my GGTS Some of the many reasons behind big battery mods are better battery life, more power & cheaper to run, plus durability & safety issues. But IMHO, it really is still best for a new user to go for the generic e-cig starter kits

Lettie, I'm so sorry I missed you yesterday, I'm away with the fairies at the mo. Oh well, anyway... Nowadays you are pretty safe taking advice from our recent newbies because they have hit on a fairly new model which most of us oldies don't have, and they've been phenomenally successful with it. BTW, you have ordered a model from the 510 family, so if you want spares look out for that number, they will fit. Very excited for you and hubby scylla

I've "converted" dozens of my friends and family with the Smoore M series (aka Intellicig!) - it's a mighty performer and perfect in every way for someone totally new to Vaping! In fact thanks to it's PCC, it's still one of my faves even now! They are available all over the place but the best price I've found is naturally direct from China www.dinodirect.com/Electronic-Cigarette-M6.htmlIt's worth bearing in mind that Vaping is not for everyone so don't go crazy with your first order! See how you like it ....... and if you love it (which you probably will!) ....... then go crazy!

Perfectionist, it's very refreshing to hear about the M series e-cig. Always been put off it a bit due some of Intellicigs marketing (can't tolerate people who are suppliers that pretend to be their own satisfied customers).
I also very much agree about not going crazy & spending as little as possible to begin with.

I buy my batteries and atties from Liberty Flights and together with the PCC (I have two) I reckon they're an excellent vape. I also use them with cartomizers (with an adapter). Fox

Hello Lettie! Just caught up with your thread as am a fairly new member on this lovely board myself and it's taking me time to work through the threads - delighted I've found it as it's a real pot of friendly knowledge. I love my Riva and hope by now you and your hubby are loving yours. * I think we now each other from another Ebay life - Rolo was asking about you the other day - we still have to convert her to vaping *

Well hello everyone - again!
What lovely support this forum is turning out to be..........
I am absolutely loving this vaping malarky! My titanium Riva is gorgeous, and hubby now has the black one.
We have 90ml of different juices between us, and tonight we are having a vaping party - just me, him, a couple of bottles of wine and a dozen cans of beer. We are going to try EVERY juice that we have, of which we have 12 different ones, so we will be well vaped out!
Just a couple of moot points -
1, loss of appetite? Is that normal? I'm not complaining mind you, as I need to lose weight - and one of the reasons for carrying on smoking was the fear of putting on weight.......
2, Is it normal to be more thirsty? I am drinking much more water.......
3, Sleeping so much better!!!!

Lettie, I am so pleased you and your hubby are getting on so well with your Rivas. They are brilliant aren't they?
To answer your questions:
1. No, I have not lost my appetite, although would have loved that as a side effect! However, I stopped smoking in Feb and have not gained any weight (bloody good job too!) 2. Yes, the PG in the vapour can coat your throat and dry your mouth out. I also suffered with a sore throat to start. I wonder..... As you are drinking more, do you think the increase in fluids may have affected your appetite? 3. Not sure about the sleep. I guess if you are coughing less and sinuses are clearer, your sleep will be more restful
I'm glad you're enjoying it - it's nice to have a vaping partner too! I'm quite jealous.
Enjoy your vape in.
