Hello everyone - I have come here to this lovely informative place after reading the lovelu Summers thread on the ebay board........and I need help and advice please. I have researched and researched and researched until my head, fingers and poor brain hurt and are threatening to boycott me if I do anymore flippin' research. So please humour me whilst I ask a thousand and one daft questions ( well 3 0r 4 really....) Hubby and I would both love to try this vapouring malarky. Neither of us has any inclination to pack up ciggies, except for the fact cigs make it difficult to have our Grandson because of the smell on us and in the house..... Could someone PLEASE advise us on the best starter kits to get? We have a budget of £100 pound for 2 kits. I have looked at cloud9, Totally Wicked, and something Flights? But the more I look the more confused I am getting as to which one to buy! Ideally I would like a purple one, and hubby would like a matt black one, and we would both like the tobacco flavour e-juices. We both smoke roll-ups - roughly 20-30 a day. Thank you so very much for any forth coming help and advice.

Hi Lettie, I am a newbie of two weeks, and have really given up cigs - love the vaping. I bought, and am happy with the Riva. See the thread devoted to it. A couple of other peeps also bought at thew same time, and are likewise happy. With the discount code - I think still 15% - you can get one for about £40.00 delivered. That comes with two batteries and two atomisers. So as a kit is a good price. That is Liberty Flights. The Riva doesn't come in purple though: Black, white, titanium (which is like a muted matt gold) and pink. Many of us buy our juice from James at Paradise Vapes. He does some small samples for £3.00 - and that includes delivery. If you have a read, you will see the flavours most favoured. I like the L and B he does. I woudl suggest you get an order into him quickly though, because he is off on holiday in a couple of days. James (Paradise Vape) posts here as Jimmybat. Very helpful chap. I am sure the experts will be around soon to give you more advice than I can, but meanwhile, I suggest you check out the Riva. Good luck, and welcome to vaping.

Hi hanow, and thank you so much for your reply. The Riva it is then! And James for the e-juices. I will go and have a look to find the riva thread and take it from there.

Hi Lettie,
Welcome to the group. We are all willing to help.
I am a newbie of 3 weeks or so, there were a few of us who joined aorund the same time. I think we all went for the Riva from Liberty Flights. You can choose a colour, I don't think there is a purple, but there is a pink! I'm still learning and so can't give you any other advice than what I already know. I have posted on here a few times with problems, but quickly got sorted out with the groups help.
We went for the Riva as being one of the easiest to go for, plus long battery life. I order my juice from James at Paradise Vape.
To start, you need a kit each and some juice. As a smoker of 40 - 50 a day of John Play Black, I went for a high juice of 36mg, and I went for tobacco taste of Benson Fences, although the most popular is LnB.
Read some of the other newbie threads to find out how we are all doing and what the suggestions are.
Hope this helps.
Kath

Thank you so much for the advice kath - very much appreciated I can assure you!
Well, I have just read the Riva thread, and I am now going to order the Riva 501 - Titanium for me and black for the hubby. Then I am going to order some juices from james - Ohhhh! I am soooo excited!
I have found a purple e-cig, but at £60 it'll have to wait for Xmas......

Code allaboute for Liberty Flights Lots have bought the 901 initially. I still use it all the time & really like it, but you do have to charge the batteries more often than the Riva.

Hello & welcome from me as well Lettie We really do have so many lovely people in this forum - big hug from me to you ((((all))) Lolli is right (& so are all the others that have posted on your thread) £60.00 is a tad too much for a purple starter kit. Please don't ever hesitate asking any questions & if you want any links posted, just shout

Can't really add anything to the great advice you've already been given, Lettie... we used to always recommend a 901 or 510 starter kit, but the Riva's really are so much better battery wise, so happy to recommend it, especially as with the discount code you get it for £38 odd delivered... welcome, btw

Thank you for the advice, and i am sure i will be back for more as soon as my Riva and juices arrive! Hubby says he will buy me a purple one for Christmas if I behave mesen.....now where is that rolling pin......

Oh Chrissie that purple one is GORGEOUS!!!!
And I want it!
I ordered the Riva 501 because most peeps seem to be impressed with the battery life of it.
But that purple one will be in my dreams tonight, and I will get one VERY soon!

Lol Lettie I've never tried the Riva myself as I've moved on to what are called big battery mods - they don't look anything like a real cig so mostly not best to recommend them to someone starting out. However, I do still use the 901 atomiser with them.
