Hi guys, I picked up a few Vision Ego V2s from VE yesterday, but the first one I have filled with juice doesn't seem to be working When I first screwed it onto the battery and fired it up, I got a couple of hisses (as I do with my other V2) but then nothing, now it doesn't do anything on either of my batteries. Both batts are fine; my other V2 works fine on either, but this new one just sits there and won't vape! Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong, or is there something wrong with the V2 perhaps? Is this a symptom of DOA-ing? My batteries are Riva 1100's and the V2s are all SR. I had no problems filling it with a needle tip bottle, definitely didn't get any juice in the centre tube.. Baffled here, all help gratefully received! Nick

You may have this problem
Or could be the center post in your clearo need just pulling gently down

Thanks Alan, I don't *think* it's the battery - it works fine with the other V2, and I've just tried that fix with no change, but it might be the clearo center post, how do I pull it down? Needlenose pliers? Looking at the bottom of both V2s, there is a very small difference between them, the one that works has a thicker center post than the one that doesn't...

Yes tweezers or long nose pliers, when they are taken apart (difficult) the whole center pin can be pushed out,Its either a matter of trying to bring it down a bit or contacting the vendor and letting him know the problem,as most vendors will accept a DOA and replace it

Tried pulling down the center pin on the clearo, but everytime i screwed it onto the batt it pushed it back up again... I think this one is a dud. Tried another V2 also bought yesterday, and it vapes fine. Ah well, into every life a few duds must fall! Thanks for the help Alan,
Nick

Ah, cheers ant, not quite so technical as to have a multi-meter I'm afraid! My DIY skills stop at changing plugs and putting pictures up lol Think I'm going back to the vendor with this one! Nick

Nick, do let Jason @ Vape Escape know about your problem, I'm sure he will sort you out.

E-mailed Jason and he said he was happy to exchange it next time I'm in the shop - sorted! Excellent vendor!

The long wick Ce4 + I have on my web shop have a longer spring loaded center pin with 1mm + of travel. That means they dont push down the center pin in your battery. If your battery connector is stuck all the way down it should reach it ! (only the long wick round tip the short wick is a fixed center pin)

Ha cigeliquid, just clicked on your link and realised its one of the websites I have open and keep adding stuff to the basket and *almost* going to checkout lol (especially that spiky thing - want!) but so far I've been to Jason's shop twice in a week and am heading back there again this week - it's very dangerous to have it only 20mins drive away... far too convenient! Since starting vaping, I've saved about £30, and spent about £180... Keep telling myself "It's not about the money, it's not about the money!", but then it's "Ooooh, shiny!" Nick
