All i can say is tobey, is that you need the proper tool for the job, and a lookalikey is great for starting off, but after a week or two, you need a man size e-cig

Below is what I go to the pub with, and yes, it does create a load of attention (not that I mind), but moreover I have handed out a plethra of cards for VapeEscape and given advice to others who have tried, seen the light and are now moving over to ecigs: I have very big hands, it is a goliath of a setup

Slowly warming to the idea and being more brave flashing it in public. May just be me but I feel less self conscious when using a cartomiser than a clearomiser. Think it's just one less odd thing to explain to people if they ask as the clearomiser looks a bit sci-fi!

I found it easier to explain at work with the vision. "That is glycerine with nicotine in, the battery heats its and turns it into vapour" I'm not that good with the ins and outs.

Sounds like a good enough explanation to me. Could blind them with science and tell them it's "CC3H8O3 mixed with C10H14N2". That should get people to stop asking!

I wave my Riva with pride. Sometimes when asked I say it's my crack pipe that tends to shut them up

I was a very lucky noobie when I first started vaping ... there I was as conscious as hell in the massive smoking area where I was working at the time All the lads from the workshop had got used to me vaping over a cpl of weeks , then I noticed another bloke puffing away on this ( what I thought at the time ) massive silver thing .... and he kept dripping into the mouth piece ..... weird thinks I ... as most people would I guess couple of days later he walks over to me as I chug away on my Ego and says here you go mate I thought you might like this .. with which he hands me and explains " this is my old screwdriver the bottom button is buggered and I can't fit the new button I bought , if it's any good to you and you can fix it mate it's yours " That night an excited me googles screwdriver ecig , lo and behold up pops Trogs site ... wow this guy has just given a complete stranger a very expensive MKI screwdriver , ok it needs fixing but he has given me the spare bits and a cpl of batteries , technical head on ... I'm from an engineering background fortunately for me , 1/2 an hour new button installed charged battery in carto on the top and me vaping on a "proper" mod 3 weeks into my vaping .... I was very conscious at the time but the now proud owner of a hand made Trog screwdriver .... ha nothing bothered me since then , as you'll see from my sig Don't think I'll ever sell that SD So as you can see a generous offer from an unknown vaper gave me the added confidence to walk around vaping on whatever device I fancy

I wave my Riva with pride. Sometimes when asked I say it's my crack pipe that tends to shut them up Have to say when I opened up the case with my Riva kit in for the first time and saw all the paraphernalia in there I did feel I was just a syringe away from a heroine addiction, and I now realise some people even keep a syringe with their kit for filling their clearo!

I now realise some people even keep a syringe with their kit for filling their clearo! I know how you feel tobylerone - I was horrified at the thought of using syringes when I started. I now have an extensive kit of different sized ones and a variety of types of blunt needles. There are some things you cannot really fill without one and the needles come in handy for all sorts of things as well. Vital additions to your vaping kit in the long run
