lol.I am to Scylla.I think that vapeing is never learned, even when you think you have cracked it you can still learn plenty from other people.I must admit that my descriptions are not the best, which could leave people very confused at times, but i do mean well and my heart is in the rite place. You have most definately as always, been able to add every detail in an easy to follow format, which is fair play, and will really help people.

Hi you two - what a science this is? I was carp at Physics!!!!! But, will note all of your advice, and will order some with my next Jimbo/Paradise order - and give it a go. Am currently playing with my new GD pass-thru - and OMG, am in love. It's wonderful, and as Perps said elsewhere, it does resurrect near-dead atties. Hope yours arrived Ian, along with the USB hub. This is really turning into a hobby now.

lYou have most definately as always, been able to add every detail in an easy to follow format It's really nice of you to say so. Before I went senile I used to rewrite sorta technical financial papers for very clever people who couldn't write decent English. It was my only talent while it lasted So if ever anyone thinks I'm writing rubbish - it's because you're not clever enough to understand it scylla

A devil's advocate question? Aren't these things just supposed to be use and binned? How much does it cost to boil cartos for 20 mins?

A good point Prof. The cost of boiling for 20 minutes probably outweighs the savings for a few more puffs plus the faff of drying and refilling and its not like they are not cheap to buy.

Ok Kenny and Prof, fair point you make.YES you can just bin em BUT i guess i am a miser and if you save them all up and put say 10 or 20 in a pan and get fresh cartos, who gives a flying fcuk about using a tiny amount of electric???Im disappointed, as that is miserly. But each and to their own,as with all vapeing issues.Would you throw an atty away if it still worked???Didnt think so,so why do it with your cartos when they are still in perfect working order??Oh well some people have to put a downside on everything.DONT knock it until you av tried it chaps.

Also Kenny, you dont get just a few more puffs. If you find the Youtube video that i watched,he has had cartos that have lasted months.I do beleive him as i rotate 3 cartos and mine are faltless at over 2 weeks. You also get a much better vape with a carto,i find, they are also useful at 5v so dnt be so over keen to bin them.YES they are cheap,i buy a pack every order i make and have LOADS.BUT i aint gonna bin em until they die, just like with an atomiser.I DO have enough money to just bin em BUT WHY??????? should i bin a useful item that vapes well time and time again just for the sake of turning on a hob.

Take your point Ian but as you say Jimmy's Cartos are so cheap at just over 4 squid for 5 and you say they last 2 weeks each before boiling so thats 10 weeks use for less than the price of an atty. Everyone to their own and have to confess that I don't use cartos but if my atties lasted 10 weeks I would be happy enough to chuck them. I don't think its worth the time and energy to try to get more life out of a carto. Do your own thing though but in my opinion its a fine line between being frugal and being miserly. Others may disagree but thats okay too.

No Kenny,2 weeks out of each carto up to now. They dont even last 2 weeks before you boil them.Try about 5 days of heavy vapeing, they become less effective and thats when you boil.SO you can bin em after the 5 days but if you were to save them up and boil 10-20,whatever number, and get more life out of them then doesnt that tell you somat??I used to just bin em but now i am merely offering an alternative for people to try if they wish to do so.So before you rubbish my thread altogeather please bare in mind that there are PLENTY of folks out there that will love the idea of prolonging the life of cartos.ALSO if you dont use cartos then you are not a very fair judge on the subject.ANYWAY whatever way we do things we are all vapers so peace and love wished to all as i dont wish to get ratty, after all, isnt that one of the reasons we chose to vape??All i know is it has saved my life and so i remain happy and calm and do not wanna argue or fall out with anyone on ere about any subject.I DONT think i know it all,as vapeing is a constant learning process BUT i do listen to all and pick up everyones hints and tips.I like to put a little input where i can,but Kenny to rubbish the whole idea is ETREMELY rude.

Ian, what you get with me is what you see or what I type and I speak my mind and if that is your opinion of me being rude so be it. Tis merely my opinion. Peace and love to you also bro.

Im also the same Kenny, think it must be a personality clash ere.BUT im not gonna try and force this subject as the proof is in the pudding.lol, dnt worry Kenny,im not the sensitive type and will lose no sleep over any comments.Just feel that if you have not used cartos you cannot judge my findings as compared to the MANY carto users on the forum who do use them.Anyway Kenny it makes a nice change to have a bit of a banter about issues. Is all good fun.

(1) It's not that expensive to clean one's cartos cos they require simmering, not boiling (says she who's never done it yet but has about 30 piling up waiting ). (2) Do lots at a time for economies of scale scylla
