Hi all,im ere. Been busy today doing some xmas shopping and clearing this bloody snow after work.Glad to hear that you may have also had sucess with your boiled produce Hissie.I must admit that yes, obviously you need a decent battery and setup to notice full extent of results. This was a point that Hanow made,i totally agree.I did notice on one of my older Riva batterys that results did not seem as good but this was merely the old battery coz when i put my new fully charged one on the experience was great.Anyway i really hope that all who try this have as much success as i have had.

I've got a small Lidl's stainless steel saucepan that will be sufficiently stain/smell resistant (I bought an induction hob* and had to give all my copper-bottomed saucepans away, very sad, I'd had them years.) *The light of my life scylla

Tried atties & most of them taste awful with a burning feeling at the back of the throat. Carto seems ok.
I still think it's the hardness of the water where I live. May have to try some bottled water next time.
Shame too, cause the atties do seem revived, just unvapable due to taste mainly.

O that's a shame Hissie . . . Hanow didn't mention that burning taste after boiling hers did she?
So it could well be the hard water effect.

Have you tried a couple of drips down inside, Hissie?
I never got any success boiling atties. Really must get around to trying it with cartos, which are a different animal.

Yes Scylla, I tried direct dripping & using a cart, didn't make much difference.
I'll reboil these atties in some bottled water see if that makes any difference. If not, then it's bin time.

I must admit that i have had a greater success with cartos than atties. My 3 510 atties i boiled are revived but have gone just steady again now.As for cartos, well im still using the same 3,boiled 3 times now and as good as day one.Nearly 3 weeks with these cartos now. Will they ever die??I only use 3 so that i can av one menthol one baccy then one spare. Is a bit of work boiling but i can stock up on atty supplys doing this which is good.

AT LAST! I set some cartos to simmer for 15 minutes. I hope it doesn't matter if they're left longer cos I'm in a bit of a state trying to eat overcooked rice noodles & curry, what a mess I'll go and change the water asap. Some of those cartos were flooded with juice So I'll drain them and see if they work without boiling. scylla
