Hi Hissie, all.Well Hanow said she had great success in boiling her attys so i also added 3 510s to my pan with 6 cartos. The 510s were struggling to even vape so i threw em in expecting them to either be totally dead or exactly as poor as before i boiled them.BUT i have been using the 3 510s today and they are like brand new atties.I cant understand why it has worked with attys coz i only used the idea to clean carto filler really.I usually just blow atties out at end of each but these 3 510s were extremely wimpy and poor.So i hope you also get great results and im puzzled that it has made these attys as good as they are now.???

Tis quite puzzling Ian, but worth a try anyway.
I live in a hard water area, & noticed, as the atties started to dry out, a light coating of limescale on the outside. If the boiling method hasn't worked for me, I rekon it's to do with the water.

Hissie, perhaps I should clarify a bit. Yes, I do live in a soft water area - and have no idea if that helps or not. But - I don't think I made it very clear that my revived ones are only doing well (and sustained it seems) by attaching them to the GD pass-thru. So perhaps it has something to do with added power? My two Riva and two Tornado batteries have been on the go for over four months now, and I think they are getting weaker. After charging them up, they only work for about an hour (if that), then become in need of charging again. Thus I think it is nearly time to bin those and move on to my replacements. Will have to see if my boiled atties work any better with a brand new battery, as they don't do anything with these older, lesser powered batteries. Hope all that makes sense.

Yes makes perfect sense hanow. I only boiled the atties which were going to thrown out anyway. As for the carto, well it dosen't harm to take the chance.

Scylla PMSL When I lived in Hertfordshire, I spent a fortune on products to descale everything - the water was sooo hard.

OMG Scylla! Brizzle has terribly hard water, am forever descaling things . . . the water in Pembrokeshire is by contrast bootiful, I only need a fraction of the soap etc that I normally use at home.

I remember the last time I went to Cornwall and washed my hair I'm in a hard water area - I wonder if it would help if we added some bicarb to the water? Not too much though - fizzzzzzzzzz scylla Looks like a bad hair day Scylla lol. x
