Thick coating of snow here this morning - not at all common. But -never known before - in the midst of it coming down, a sudden flash of lightening and mega clap of thunder!!!!! My mother is now at home (sister taking care for a week) and when I phoned to check how she is, (her house overlooks the beach) - she said that the beach was coated............ and .............. baby seals playing on the shoreline - again, never seen before. All very weird.
