Bucko, the EM 901LR's are fantastic!. OK, I've had a couple that seemed to wimp out after a week or so, but as advised by Perpy, I just shoved them on my GDPT @ 5v & they sprang back to life. Lol, in fact they sprang so much back to life & got so hot, I put them back on my gg@s & they are working as good as new

Can only second what Chris says about the EM LR901's Buck, personally I think they're a very under rated atomiser.
Although, I'll probably put the mockers on things now . . . but my 2 Mega Atomisers are still going strong on week 3 of use . . . they'll die now I just know it!

Glad yours are doing well still Perpy.Mine were pants.I tried the standard resistance ones and they seem to last,BUT its the whole 5 second draw thing i hate.So ive put them away now and will probably never use them again.I agree with you all regarding the LR901s.Ive been using a DSE901 LR from LF and an Eastmall LR 901,they are both on a month now and still going strong.I dont think i could ever use another atty after having the pleasure of using these. This atty ticks every box for me.

Ian, I agree, the Liberty Flights LR901 is also fantastic.
I've always loved the 901 far more than the 510 & as you say the LR901 (@3,74v) ticks every box.

Aye, a think you's could be on to something ere, thanks...
The thing I like about this LR901 I'm using now is, the draw needs only 2-3 seconds. And it still chucks out the vapour and flavour. Are the LR901s from Eastmall and LF like this?

I've only ever used EM LR901's Buck and they've always performed well.

Ive found the same as you Bucko.2-3 second draw gives lovely vapour, flavour and throat hit.I have found that the DSE 901 LR from LF and Eastmall LR 901 both work equally as good.As i say, both are on a month now and usually any LR atty i use tends to burn out within a matter of between an hour or a week if i am very lucky.I am over the moon with these.

Hope the GDPT does the trick for you Lilac . . . it's certainly something I do quite regularly to 'kick start' an atty. Not working now until Monday, I feel quite lost as this is the first Christmas Eve I've not worked in 36years . . . suppose I ought to be doing creative culinary thingies. . . .

I'm just watching this video on refilling mega cartos - I can hardly hear it on my netbook speakers, which are usually not too bad, so I'd be grateful if someone could test it for me. I've noticed lately that lots of YouTube audio is too quiet. My actual point is... my 18g needle is too fat to fit into the hole in the carto. The fella doing the demo seems to give it a good push and rams it right in, but I'm scared to force it. Anyone got experience of the 18g needle usage to advise me? Aha! Now this guy capt12b I can hear Look at the syringe/needle/catheter he's using - I wonder if we can get them? Don't understand how he manages to get the juice into the chamber with that thickish flexible "device" ??? scylla

I took courage (or got foolhardy) and pierced the hole forcibly this evening, now the carto's filled better/more.
But I have to find the syringe James gave me long ago, which is nice & small but doesn't have a needle with it. It's difficult gauging the quantity with a big syringe.
