Lol Jerry, "gobsmacked" sort of means astounded I've had to try & work out what the "facepalm" is all about? I've seen the smiley but not really come across the saying before. Chrissie, "facepalm" or hand over face, can mean embarrassment, frustration, confusion. Kind of a "I don't believe what just happened" or "what I just said", or "what you just said" or "I feel stupid right now", feeling. Thanks for the explanation Jerry I'm now going to do the big bad nasty administrator kind of thing & move this thread to the Lounge area. I know Jerry started it off as a general e-cig discussion thread but as it's moved on to be being a lovely chat thread, I think the Lounge suits it best

That sounds like fun, Jimmy. You are right, Vegas is very far from me, clear across the country. Don't spend too much money in the casinos, they are there to make money, not give it away.

This how it all starts, first my thread is banished and next it will be me. That'll be the day, Jerry It was a very friendly and affectionate move BTW, with quick typing there was an S got lost - a person who's down in the mouth or rather bad tempered is a "misery-gut s". scylla

I know it was a friendly move, Scylla, I was just being mischievous. As for the second paragraph, have you been spying on us at the j0ker thread? There is no spying allowed, it is mandatory that you post something. lol.

It is an amazing forum though, it's grown so quickly - I take my hat off to Smokey Joe & the moderators on there. The mods really do have their work cut out with over 50,000 members.

The thing that I like about the ECF, is the volumes of information available there and the diversity of subjects and posts. When I first joined, it was because of the legal threads. I became a "regular" on SunVaporers SE vs FDA thread and Sun taught me a lot about the law and the e-cig battle with the FDA.

I agree Jerry, the volumes of information on ECF is incredible. However, these days I mainly view via the new posts tab & I so wish there where some sub-forums I could click an ignore button for. When I joined over 2 years ago it wasn't much bigger than this forum (nope no illusions of grandeur ). Kate (of vapers network & a great e-cg campaigner) was the first person to welcome me on my "Hello" thread. Still feel gutted she was banned
