I don't know if anyone else get these but I have been suffering from these for years (normally monthly). For 2-3 days I would be knocked out, I couldn't eat or drink I would just have to stay in bed for the whole time. Now since I have been vaping, that's about 40 days or so now I have not had a migraine. I have had a slight feeling of a numb head but this hasn't developed into anything worse. So I'm wondering if smoking had something to do with it? Either way it feels great. Vaping ROCKS

Vaping ROCKS You may well be right as with smoking you are filling your lungs with carbon monoxide and that prevents oxygen reaching the brain. You are right as in: Vaping ROCKS.

Maybe a constituant of the tobacco was the trigger for your migraines Lisa, great that they've stopped...i get them, after a fashion, in that i only get the visual disturbancies, sometimes the nausea, but rarely the actual headaches, thank goodness, only lasts 30 mins or so...

Lisa, if Lilac is right (& I bet she is) re something in tobacco being the trigger for your migraines, then it will last

I have the aura, headache, nausea and loss of speech type.I am still mixing smoking and vaping and am still having them. However when i tried giving up on patches i found i could eat cheese in abundance with no migraines, itwas fantastic, gorgeous melted stretchy cheese, mmm,i can only dream at the moment, lol. Has any other suffer found that after an attack it leaves you depressed and sickly for over a week, when i have a batch of them i can be ill for months, which is why i dont succumb to that bloomin lovely cheese, mmmm

(((Netty))) feel so sorry for you not being able to eat cheese I love cheese & as I'm vegetarian, tend to add it to all sorts of dishes as it's a good source of protein.

Funny, I never liked cheese as a child but now I love it. Not goat's cheese though, I just cannot take to that "farmyard hay" aroma.
