I'm a night owl too, Anne. I contend that good and morning put together is an oxymoron. lol.
It's still early here though, only 8:34 p.m.

Jerry. I was diagnosed as having ME several years ago. When I get stressed & tired, I look awful & can't find the right words to express myself. I was pulled out at the passport check via a customs guy waving a gun at me for 2 reasons. Firstly because my holiday was to visit a male friend (I guess they mistakenly thought there was more to the friendship & or I was looking for a way to moving to the US. Secondly, because I was so tired due to the flight so tried to explain there was no way I needed a bread ticket as I owned several properties in the UK - so they put me down as a drug dealer I'm guessing your trip to South Korea was far from being a holiday The idiot pulled a gun on you !!! Unbelievable !!! Then they said that you were a drug dealer !!! >

nite nite Jerry and Scylla (cos she'll be around somewhere) I wasn't, Lilac It's completely amazing but for several days I've been sleeping at night I'm wondering if it's these blood pressure tablets, which are also supposed to help with menopause symptoms. I'm still flushing like mad thru the day but seem to be sleeping 5-6 hours thru the night Getting some horrid waves of depression though, like nausea throughout one's body Back to the weather: In the news: the government has written to local authorities telling them to spread less grit so that it won't run out. They've written? What makes them think the letters will be delivered? scylla

Lilac, yes it was late for me wasn't it Jerry, it was more waving a gun at me & then a Spanish Inquisition about my life in the UK, the contents of my handbag (the big bloke with the gun just tipped it upside down on the desk in the office he had taken me to). Then checks & double checks that the anti-inflammatory painkillers where what I said they where. At the end of the grilling - just walked out the office & said I could carry on with my journey - just left me to pick up the strewn contents of my handbag & holdall By that time of course, I had missed my connecting flight to San Diego.

I have heard that entering the US has been a daunting experience for a long time, and that the personnel at the entry points are in stark contrast to the pleasant and helpful (even if "have a nice day" gets on yer tots ) service staff in hotels and shops etc scylla

I think that foxes, mice and rats are all the pawed visitors I'm lucky enough to get. (Do mice and rats have paws?) It would be so lovely to have hares. That reminds me, haven't seen mice in my bedroom since I switched on that electronic sonic thing that's not supposed to work. Totally dread moving the bed though scylla
