O no Foxy, my big double radiator in the lounge has given up working, but fortunately I've a gas fire . . . hope your plumber can get the heating back on for you today, it's so perishing cold. Those little Halogan heaters, if there are any left in the country are really effective and very cheap to run. Sage Leaf can be quite effective for hot flushes/night sweats Scylla, although not recommended for anyone with blood pressure problems . . . Red Clover would be better. Not quite a polar bear Jerry . . . Perpy, that poor dog looks frozen !!

An explanation from Photobucket help pages : -
View Your Account Bandwidth
Bandwidth is used when digital content is viewed from a link you posted on another website or sent in an email (e.g., MySpace, eBay, message boards, etc.). Bandwidth is a measure of the number of bytes passed over time via direct linking. It is calculated by adding up the size of each of your images or videos as they are sent from Photobucket. The “Monthly Bandwidth" number is the amount of bandwidth you have used within the last month. The month is determined by the day of the month you registered your account. Example
You have various images of 25K each in size that are viewed by 100 users on your favorite message board in one day. You also have one video of 15000K that is viewed by 10 users in one day. 25K * 100 requests = 2500K (or 2.5 MB). 15000K * 10 requests = 150000K (or 1500 MB). When you add the two together, you have used 152.5 MB of bandwidth in one day.
Important! Do not confuse bandwidth with your album size.
Bandwidth usage is un-metered for Pro accounts, however Photobucket reserves the right to disable direct linking on accounts that use excessive bandwidth or are otherwise abusing the system. Free accounts are allowed 10 GB of bandwidth per month. 10 GB is hundreds of thousands of images viewed via direct links, and the value resets each month on the anniversary of the day you registered.
Bandwidth resets each month on the anniversary of the day you originally registered.
Example: You registered on the 5th of June, and your bandwidth will reset on the 5th of each month thereafter. View your bandwidth
1. Log into your Photobucket account. 2. Click My home. Your Latest activity page displays. 3. Look at the Account usage panel to see the storage and bandwidth used by your account. This panel ONLY displays for free accounts. Pro accounts can see their bandwidth on the Account status page in Account settings. See Review your account status for details.
Exceeded Bandwidth Message
If you have a Photobucket account:
1. Log into your Photobucket account. 2. Check your Monthly Bandwidth usage in the Account Usage panel on your My home: Latest activity page. If you’ve exceeded your limit, the usage bar is red, and the logo replaces your images and videos.
Note: When you upgrade to Pro, or when your monthly anniversary date arrives, the bandwidth resets to zero, and your images redisplay.
If you did not exceed the monthly bandwidth allowance, or you are not a Photobucket member, you probably have an image or video incorporated in your MySpace background (or other website) that is hosted in a Photobucket member's album which has exceeded the bandwidth allowance. Remove the code that was linked from Photobucket to prevent the logo from displaying.
You can avoid exceeding bandwidth when you get a Pro account, which has un-metered bandwidth. However, Photobucket reserves the right to disable direct linking on accounts that use excessive bandwidth or otherwise abuse the system.
If you are not a Photobucket member, consider joining Photobucket and using your own account to host the images you want to display around the web.

Scylla, I think it means that the person who put that picture on Photobucket, has exceeded his/her bandwidth and that's why we are getting that message, instead of the picture.

Perpy, that poor dog looks frozen !! Believe it or not Jerry, but we'd just come back from a walk, upon removal of a very snug & cosy little doggy jacket, purchased specifically for the current Artic conditions . . . this was the immediate response from my little doggy. Was about to research sage leaf for contra-indications and you've come up with a very important one for me Already tried a good few months of red clover, no relief scylla ??? That's a great pity Scylla . . . have you seen this link? www.project-aware.org/Managing/Alt/hotflash.shtml

Scylla,
You have my sympathy. These are wretched things to suffer with. Menopace really helped me but they took a couple of weeks to do so. Don't knpw if anything in them is contra-indicated for you...

I haven't tried Menopace - I assume they're a vitamin and herb mix? I'll have a look because "a couple of weeks" is not time at all after years and years. Perpy, I had to raise my eyebrows at one of the triggers: Anger, especially if you can’t express itThere's a lot of that here scylla

I can't help wondering why you had to edit that message Jerry - it would be lovely if you were frightened to offend me It's very special circs that cause my suppressed anger here, hardly likely to overflow onto my lovely vaping frenz - the only thing that does overflow sometimes is clumsy"wit", just for something to say. scylla

I had to edit my previous message, because I placed it inside the quote, instead of below it. We don't always have important information to post. Many times, posting just to say hello or to make a joke is just all that we have to say.

Jerry x Ah, that makes sense. I don't think I've ever linked to anyone else's photobucket pics - tend to save & then upload to my own pB account instead. Scylla, I love your wit - clumsy or not

Or rather fed up scylla Scylla, when Chrissie invited me here, one of the conditions was that I had to be a friend to Scylla. She had me sign a long and complicated contract. Jerry
