My slanderous remarks on TW forum?

I can't ask over on the TW forum what the mod considers slanderous as the thread has been locked & even though I've been a member for 2 years I can't PM them to ask. So just wondering if you lovely folks could help me out.

This is the thread in question & I first posted on page5.

These are the posts I made on the thread (none of my posts have been deleted - unlike Pinheads posts which have been).

As both Scylla & Perpy say, we have at least one very disappointed newbie on our all about e-cig forum Sad According to Jason's you-tube video, the sale was going to end either today or tomorrow & according to emails website blogs tomorrow was confirmed in "writing"

Jason. anything you can do to help these e-cig newbies? One alone had over £150.00 worth of goods sitting in there basket when the sale came to an end earlier than advertised.

Ordo is right! It ended on the 19th - not the 20th or the 21st.

Over the weekend, myself & some other members of my e-cig forum had been trying to help a lovely newbie find the best e-cigs for himself & his wife. Yeah that might sound easy but sometimes it's not. Both of them took a bit of persuading to go for a Titan (Tornado was out of the question as too large for them). They had a limited budget so we foolishly suggested they hung on till they got a good discount as we thought the sale wasn't going to end till the 21st. They had just made up their minds & where about to spend £150.00 when the sale ended early - not just a couple of hours early but 2 days early.(blimey imagine that happening at an airport boarding gate - "sorry your flight took off 2 days early".

Quite understandably this has put them off ever buying from TW.

My All About E-cigarettes forum is none affiliated, so i just can't see why it is a threat to TW. I first set up a mainly UK e-cig forum over 2 years ago via an ebay group (then moved to a proboard in October 2009 due to eBay's policy on e-cigs). But even before that as Jason well knows, I promoted e-cigs & so often Pillbox38's when he was selling on eBay, on many an eBay community discussion thread. So I find it so out of order that I can't even have a link to my forum in my profile! Angry

But judging by your slanderous remarks in this thread I will however say it comes off very unprofessional to go on someone else's forum and cause a stir over something of such a trivial nature. As an Administrator of a forum you of all members here should know to take your grievances and concerns to the proper people directly. Just saying. Usually has a better outcome as well.

How absolutely ******* pathetic of them, behaving like overgrown spoilt children, no one disputed how fab the bargains, if you timed it correctly were during the yo-yo sale.

Neither was anyone being demanding, just asking - not unreasonably - why the sale had ended earlier than advertised, considering the large amount of business we put TW's way, both with recommendations and our own purchases . . . their attitude blerdy well stinks. >

I suppose all the people complaining in considerably more vociferous terms on ECF are also slanderous . . . jeez someone needs to grow up and it's not us.

They've been caught out quite simply and don't like having the shortcoming pointed out . . . a simple email to all the folks they manage to promote their wares too, when it suits, would have sufficed.

TW have seen the last of my business and I certainly won't be recommending them to any new vapers. Their loss.

Perpy, got to admit that I've had a few run ins in the past with Pillbox. I've still never really forgiven him for calling a lovely eBay member a liar when they received their starter kit that without the 50 prefilled cartridges they had also bought (we are going way back here to when Pillbox sold on eBay & juice wasn't available in the UK).

Then again, I'll never forget about another eBay buyer leaving him a neg just after eBay stopped sellers being able to neg buyers. So Jason bought a cheap item his buyer was selling & instantly left him a neg I really do think for his own sake, never mind his customers, he needs to curb that short fuse.

On the other hand, I do admire how well he has done & when I & others have pulled him up on some of his hot headed posts in the past, he has listened & apologised.

I don't see anything slanderous either, Chrissie. They made themselves look bad and you called them out on it. I think they are trying to make you look bad, to cover their faux pas.

Edit: "Slander" was a very poor choice of words on their part.

Quite Jerry . . . and that really just goes to show the morals with the retaliatory neg Chris.

Obviously Jason is a very successful business man, a chap with vision for which he deserves due admiration . . . . but no one is bigger than their customer base. . . I'm thinking Gerald Ratner here.

People aren't fools and a simple email communication to customers on the mailing list could have avoided this fall out.

Yep, Slander is the spoken word -the written word is libel. The only thing I can think Darth vaper is referring to is my mention of posts/threads being removed. However that is the truth. Instead of them dealing with any issues they just delete any threads from members that aren't happy with products/service. Just within the last 24 hours or so, Pinhead's (Sean's) posts where deleted for no good reason & so was this ECF's members thread : -

Yep, poor show all round, think Jerry hit the nail on the head in that they're having a go at Chrissie to deflect attention from Jason's effectively breaking a contract with his customers by ending a sale early, if he'd posted a disclaimer when announcing the sale it might have been forgiven....he didn't, did he? such as 'sale ends 21st or when sale stock is depleted'..?

I refuse to log in again Sean . . . it's abundantly clear that unless botty licking praise is given there's little point . . . the beauty of this forum is being non affiliated we can be honest about the suppliers we deal with.

That said, I've never read on here from anyone, anything abusive or rude about a supplier . . . merely honest appraisals of supplier experience.
