I don't think MM should scramble to cook an egg just for our benefit!

Blerdy tragic, the fox and the bantams, and me not having a motto or a cat or a dog Did you keep chooks in the garden, Clutter, or have you got a farm/smallholding? scylla I kept 'em in my small back garden Scylla, but it was plenty big enough for them lil 'uns to free-range. I shall get some more late spring/early summer. Will put my mind to thinking up a motto for you, but I want an assurance that I shan't be banned first

Eggs are not the bad boys they've been accused of being in the past...they're little powerhouses of good stuff.... I quite agree, Lilac I had fried eggs with sauted leftover roast potatoes last night, and microwaved tomatoes (non-fat ) with tom ketchup on them for extra lycopene (don't mention the sugar ). I make parsley omelette quite often cos Sainsbury's big bags of curly parsley keep for ages in the fridge, and if I put more in than most people would be able to stand I reckon it's a real vitamin hit without no cookin' hardly Back to cholesterol - dietary cholesterol raises blood levels so slightly that it makes no odds, it's only peeps with high cholesterol already that need to be at all concerned. scylla
