Ok, Clutter, I think I have it figured out. LOL. Just one question, a "banty or "bantum" is a small chicken and a chook is a chicken ???
We eat mostly brown eggs, since they come from the Rhode Island Red, which is native to here.
BTW love your quote, under your avatar. It's the reverse of mine, but I like to be different. LOL

Lol, Mirror Avatar sigs > Mine,s nicked from Descartes "I drink, therefore I am" Yup, some bantums are little chickens, but some are little breeds in their own right. RIR as well as being good chooks in their own right, are often crossed with different breed chickens mostly to produce good laying, good do-er hybrids with brown/light brown eggs, I fink ??? 'Tis always a culture shock when I go to the Carribean and see the blindingly white eggs produced there by their scrawny free-rangers which is nothing compared to the horrors of our battery farmed yearlings which many take on.

Mine is nicked from Descartes also. I originally had it the same way as yours is, but then I noticed that another member on ECF was using it, so I flipped mine around, just to be unique. LOL.

Thinking about chickens and eggs (as you do like) reminded me of my nan- apparently she owned a clutch of prize 'Rhode Island Reds'. They were like pets and were allowed in the house and all

We need to do something to get MM to want an egg, this has been going on for at least a week. The suspense is killing me.
