Perp you're an angel, I've just sent you a message asking if you've got any spare LR atties, all mine have suddenly died and the damned screwdriver isn't working properly although I haven't a clue what can go wrong with it! My atties that wouldn't work with the screwdriver are working great with my old Riva batteries! Hmmph! LOL Could also maybe get a couple of Riva batteries as back ups if you have them hun x R&R'd Dee . . . I can do the LR atty's no problem . . . only got spare Tornado batteries not Riva's though. Knew I should have ordered them just in case!

Dee, re your Screwdriver. Make sure where the attie screws into it is clean & dry.

Thanks Chrissie I've done all that, I think it's the batteries dying, not had it long and so far appears that 4 batteries have lost power! Not a happy bunny really.

Dee - have to say, I have been very disappointed with my SD from the outset. I ordered and tried the Kaido batteries, which appear to charge, but I can't get any oomph out of it. I changed atties, but still weak in output. Having begun with a Riva, then a Tornado, I haven't had similar success or satisfaction with my SD. Wish I could work out what and why. I don't want to keep spending money trying to get this thing operating satisfactorily, when perhaps it never will? I have just placed an Eastmall order for atties, and if they don't work, then I am giving up on it.

Kaido batteries, which appear to charge, but I can't get any oomph out of it. I bought 6 Kai batteries, out of which only 2 worked. Like you say, they appeared to charge ??? Some were buttercup-yellow and others lemon - the 2 that "worked" were one of each colour That's not to say that Perpy's aren't good - Prof likes these batteries. Dorset, dive in anywhere scylla

Perhaps I'll test these Kaido batteries first if Dee wants any then . . . have to say the two I've so far used have been fine, but that's not say they all will be. I'd perhaps invest in a couple of specific SDII batteries then Hanow if you're having problems with your SD, as it really should have a bit of ' punch' with a LR atomiser and a properly functioning battery.

Wonderful news . . . it looks like our order is here, under a week from China as well. I've got home from work to find a card from Parcelforce to say that a parcel has been taken to my local sorting office to collect, plus on the EMS tracking it confirms delivery was today. So, I'll get along to the SO tomorrow, firstly I'll sort/post our straightforward orders, then I'll tackle the more involved SD/RD ones . . . hope this is ok with everyone. I think this will take me a few days to get under control as that's a fair amount of gear that we ordered, so would ask everyone to bear with me as I'd rather not rush it and make any silly mistakes.

Wow Perpy that was so quick I doubt I'm the only one that wasn't expecting the order to arrive for several days Not at all surprised it will take you a few days to sort out such a huge order. Thanks again Perpy
