I got my clear tank today, unscrewed everything, changed over to the new clear tank, filled it up with my DIY juice, with my DIY mesh wick and DIY coil.

I've got to say, although all of them could do with improvement, they all showed promise and it's a great feeling to have done all that myself

I believe the clear tanks need thinner O ring..

I wish vendors would do some research and sell these things with the right accessories..

You can make your own with a 10mm syringe..Polypropylene (syringe materials) is a lot more forgiving and does not crack easily..

Anyone know where to get o rings for these? I see vh has a spares kit but non in stock.
How long do you guys wait before cranking up the voltage?
Getting me lavatube tommorow (hopefully) can't wait

2 of 4mm id x 1mm c/s for the center post

2 of 10mm id x 1mm c/s for the top and bottom of a clear tank

or

2 of 11mm id x 1 mm c/s for the top and bottom of the metal tank

1 of 12mm id x 1mm c/s for the top cap..

Well tank no.2 is cracking as well, got some O rings on order as per Macca's advice hopefully that will mean tank 3 will survive. Tank 1 was from vapour hut and 2 was from vaping things so it seems to be a problem generally. Could just be my gennie though. Syringe might be the go.

Syringes are made of PP and has more "give" in it..Zero cracks after a two weeks with original O rings..

The o rings you suggested worked perfectly Macca. Went on snugly without exessive force, rings are sealling without distorting.
