I got to see doc 9.50 this morning. Sat down and she said 'have I seen you before?' !!!!
Yes about 4 times! (actually it was 7 times after I checked when I got home!!) I've only been with her since last May so I think that it quite a lot.
I gave her my bits of paper and showed my points (band B2) and reason for band..... 'unknown' Asked her if she would update things on the TWells list as she had on the Tonbridge one.
She didn't seem to remember that......... I had written and posted a letter to her a couple of months ago and the info got changed on the Homechoice website, so she must have done something!! She said 'man doctor' may have done it (can't remember his name). I've only seen him when she sent to me him to have knee injections!! So I don't see why he would've done it.
Anyway, that's the confusing bits at the beginning of the appointment which I couldn't work out!!
She did get around to reading my 'bits of paper' stating what I can't do etc. She has HAND written a note to Homechoice which covers the things I said and should help - if they can read her scribble!! Gave it to me to send to them.
I had told her where my 'new' pains are - - between shoulder blades and my problems with crunching ribs. She lifted my top up at back and pressed the base of my spine - ouch! and that was it!!! Said it was all part of my overall problems.
She did say she could write a prescription for paracetamol if I liked. I pointed out that she makes a provision on my prescription list for me to obtain 100 500mg paracetamol soluble tablets each month!! I don't collect them every month 'cos I don't use that many!!!
I don't think she was quite with it this morning, but she did manage to get me out within the 10 minute allocation though!!
Then I forgot to book for me to have more knee injections!!!
I had intended to go on to Age Concern but it was so cold, windy and wet, I got the bus home. AC is quite a walk from the docs so will go on Thursday and get a bus nearer to them By then I will have deciphered her note and will take it with me Also get the info into post to the Homechoice address.
I was really freezing (waiting for buses) when I got home, knees painful, so took to my electric blanket for a while!!
Not sure you will be able to decipher this garble, but though I would update you. MM

(((MM))) Sounds like you have a crap uncaring doctor This is most likely a silly question I know, but is there anyway you could look at renting a flat via the private sector? Guessing you will say no due to rentals being too high? But there are some thoughtful landlords/ladies out there honest! I rent out both of my BTL's way below market value as I care about my lovely tenants & know they couldn't afford to pay the going price.

Chrissie, I'm sure you've been told before that you are One In A Million - MM would be so lucky to find a landlord like you Anyway, MM, that's one step forward (and none back!) but I'm sorry that it was such an unpleasant day. Hope you were well comforted when you got home. Trying to find something nice in a hurry... There ya go scylla x

Scylla, I bet there are many other landlords/ladies out there that feel the same as me. Care about & look after your tenants & in most cases they will care about & look after the property That butterfly is lovely

Apologies for not answering sooner Chrissie - had to do some real work!! I did consider the private sector but, as you say, much too expensive - they still think Tunbridge Wells is 'Royal'!! Also, I wouldn't really have the security there is with the H.Associations etc. Now.... if you were to do a Buy to Let up here........!!! MM There is absolutely nothing remotely suitable for me on the two new lists out yesterday. But, I am a believer that things happen for a reason. Haven't worked it out yet .................but !!

I haven't managed to get to Age Concern yet as the weather has been diabolical!! Very, very windy and when it gets in my ears, it 'does my 'ead in' !!! (I even missed a free lunch!!) I got my downstairs neighbour to post all the information to the HA on Friday. See whether it does any good. JERRY I haven't forgotten about the Thing!! Hopefully, this week will be a bit quieter and I can play around again!! MM
