MM, you can only have one attachment per post - no way of putting them all in the same post> If you use a host like photobucket, instead of using the attachment facility, then you can post several pics in each post  |

Some of that still has to go to Charity shops. I'm just hoping there will be room for everything in a new place. I don't mind a mess when it's my art thingies all over the place - in fact I don't put the stuff away until I've finished what I working on. Then I have a clean up and start again. It's all been packed away since May!! MM |

Jerry - I am not the tidiest person at the best of times but this lot is just a heap, some of it quite heavy so I can't get at anything if I wanted to. Can't do the 'Thing' till after the housing lady visits me - don't want the horrid smell of the cooking oil ......... ::)MM |

We've already lectured MM on cooking oil and it turned out she had the recommended one all along, but is buying fresh. Well, the Housing lady has been and gone - hour and a half!!
We spent most of the time rummaging through all my antiquey things and talking about stuff other than housing!! Actually, it was fun. She's an American lady who married a Brit and moved here. Says she can't imagine I am who I am at my age...... not sure what she means!!!! Perhaps I should've got my crutches out or something!! She went off saying I am a very interesting person!! Puffs out chest!
Anyway, the outcome is - she doesn't think the flat she came about would be any good to me - too small.
It is being refurbed and says I can go a look at it when it's ready. (I might just out of interest)
But, she says there is another one becoming available soon which is not much smaller than my own one.
She also says that if any other of their properties become available on the Homechoice thingie that I may be interested in, to make a bid in the normal way, and then to ring her. Could be useful.
She reckons, on the stairs alone, I warrant a move as soon as possible. See what happens next. MM

So that's what happened to all of our women, they moved to the UK !! It sounds good so far MM, you left a good impression on her, you now have an inside track to getting a place of your liking. Definitely call her if you find a place that you like. |
