This is why I stick to a simple system of Riva/tornado 510..no cartomisers or fancy tanks, just atties and blue foam filled cartridges

I am being honest to my findings, and the taste is very bland indeed,in my opinion. If the poor wicking issue was sorted,i think it would be alot better. It is an exciting development this tank.I just think more testing is needed and changes to the tank cart could be made to help the juice wick correctly.I am trying allsorts with it,willing it to get better, but its just not happening.I gave the atty a good dry burn last night, and its made no difference whatsoever.Still the same, bland taste.I am convinced the wicking issue could easily be resolved, with a new design of tank cart.

Ian, The thing is, we all rave about different things. I have had no luck with cartomisers at all, no vapour, no flavour, nothing about them that I would recommend, and I have tried all the hints and tips!! I love my TT. Lots of flavour and vapour....to me it vapes like an LR attie. I only have one and it is still performing well. The only thing that puts me off buying a couple more is the 510 carts from USA. I also love the fact that my tank doesn't leak when it is in my pocket, will hold enough juice to see me through a night shift and is excellent when driving. Different strokes really...
I would probably recommend them to a 'newbie'...

My tank atty took a good couple of days to get 'broken in' up until then, everything tasted unspeakably blergh . . . for work it is absolutely fantastic, not having to bother refilling a cart . . . although the Mega Cart also works pretty well in that area, but the LR attys only last about a month, which considering what I spent on fags is acceptable for me. . . but not perfect.
I am finding a bit of leakage a month+ on, but that could be fixed if I bothered to replace the tank cart, as it's possibly become a bit worn now.
I showed it to a customer at work on Sunday, who'd come in to buy some herbal ciggies . . . which still have 3mg of tar per cig . . . they went out with no herbal cigs. Bad me. :-[
I'd buy more, but am waiting to see what Eastmall have to offer after the Chinese NY holiday . . . .

:)Agreed, its good for a newbie,or if you just like to see a bit of vapour. If you love a good throat hit, like i do,then this system needs an LR atty.I already said that if it was made with a better atty, then i would use nowt else but the tank. My cartos and LR901s are performing far more superior in the throat hit department, as compared to the tank atty.It dont wick the juice quick enough, which is a shame. However, when it is improved,i will be willing to try it again. I have two tank attys, which i am gonna go sell now,coz they are not working for me personally. Bring on the LR,i say.

My personal tip to people just starting out is: keep it simple & build upon it when you have gotten used to your starter kit.
I still don't feel ready to tackle other e-cigs & accessories yet. I'm quite content with what I have for the time being.

Sound advice Hissie . . . I'd also add to that, that there are different 'breeds' for want of a better word, of vapers. . . the ones whose vaping has become a 'hobby' to them and enjoy trying all the new gadgets and gizmo's . . . and those whose vaping is purely a smoking replacement method.
It doesn't always boil down to financial circumstances either, I've two vaping convert friends, both considerably more well heeled than me, who are completely happy with their Riva's and have no desire whatsoever to branch out . . . despite my best efforts.

Sound advice Hissie and Perpy.Ive hit the point now where i dont want or need to buy any more mods, just essentials from now on,attys carts etc.I will treat myself every now and again, but want to start putting all the money away that i used to spend on fags.As for juice,i must have a years supply now. I am actually concerned that some of it might go off by the time i get round to vaping it.Its kept in a dark cool place, but how long can you store juice for???? ???

I'm sort of on the fence here Part of me would love to try all the different new mods/cart/attie upgrades - partly just to be able to join in & help out others with them. The other part of me is just so happy with GG's & Garry Dibley passthru, (using 901 & LR901 atties respectively) I just can't see the need for anything more Ian, Way back on ECF, someone from Dekang posted saying the shelf life for juice was 2 years.

I am ashamed to say that I've got juice here that is 2 years old minimum, allowing for the fact that it was made before I bought it It's the minty stuff. scylla
