Ah right Wotsit. I guess we all have different ideas of simple lol. Maybe my routine is a bit too simple. However, it suits me for the time being. Still I'll try and offer help & advice where I can

And thanks again Hissie (hope I didnt sound snarky because I really wasnt . I really apprciate how friendly and welcoming this site is esp compared to other sites. Really sorry if it came across as snarky ) I can only work the joye cartos, the expensive ones at 2 quid each and even if I do refill then was looking for another system. I have posted a thread about not being able to work atties I am a hopeless vaper and have no hopes or ambitions of using super duper mods with all the bells and whistles.

Well day 2. Dear Diary....... Gah! I suppose its getting better a slight bit. Now I can taste curry leaves rather than vomit so its all good. Lol. Im adding menthol and flavourart pepermint in vast quanities to get over the above mentioned problem. I love how easy it is. I love the vaper. I dont care about throat hit so not getting any doesnt bother me in the slightest. But flavour, Ian I would take no flavour over this any day. I have tried another few juices in cartos and love the rasp coconut ice very much. But yuk almighty in the tank.

lol Wotsit You will get there with your flavours in the end.I wish i could be happy with just the vapour.I can have clouds of thick vapour around me,but without the throat hit,it does nothing for me.I like to wake up in the morning and have a good 5v blast to set me up for the day ahead Anyway, sounds like you are doing well, wish i could vape less nicotine.Any lower than 24mg just dont cut it for me,how do ya do it???I can see the good points of the tank, maybe if i stop vaping for a few days altogeather then come back to the tank it might seem a better vape.Ive got to used to LRs and 36mg over many months.Maybe a break would do me good. :)Easier said than done

Ian - fingers crossed it will get there :0) I honestly thinkI am overly sensitive to nicotine as a smoker. When on the fags I often really wanted to light another one up for the sensation but would develop blinding headaches, but still lit up anyway. Those headaches are something I am trying to avoid with the e-cigs so when I started out I picked lower nic stuff (11mg) and then playing arroung added VG until I couldnt see through the vapour cloud so I guess it was about 7mg ish. Now I have a range of nic strengths but dilute dilute dilute. These new ones from Enjuice are far too harsh at 11mg but you cant get them lower from there. So when testing themIamtaking a puff every while. Any nic replacement thing will have me curled up in a ball within minutes feeling very very sick. The thing I like is the action and HUGE vapour clouds so I am a fairy cheap date in that respect. The stuff I got from Perpy from China 100ml of 18mg willlast me ages.

Good stuff Wotsit.I wish i could get to the same stage as you with it all.lol,i will maybe get the mrs to lock me in a room for a week without an e-cig. I could then emerge with slashed wrists, ready to vape some low or no nic juice

I didn't think you were being funny with me Wotsit. I just wish I could help you in someway with your vaping experience.
As for nicotine strengths, I rekon James could make a weaker strength juice to suit your requirements. All his juices are hand mixed to order as opposed to stored in large quantities.
Also, maybe try a completely different e-cig. A lot of the vintage vapers prefer the simple DSE 901 mini e-cig. I personally couldn't get away with it, but it's another option to consider.

Please forgive if this seems a little off-topic, this is really aimed at Ian as he's been so disappointed by the Tanks. (my sympathy - SO annoying when a new toy won't play) I am becoming increasingly convinced that the proportion of VG even in PG liquids has been increasing over the last 12 months or so, as the viscosity of all of the liquids I've seen recently seems to be much greater than it was around 2 years ago when all were noticeably thinner. I'm suspecting this might be related to problems I've had recently with 901 carts which are failing to wick properly even when brand new. They transmit liquid from about the top 1/4" then the rest just sits in the cart not budging! I do wonder if it might be a worthwhile experiment to try adding a little vodka to a small bottle of juice, Ian - this should thin it a little (adding alcohol also increases throat hit, too) and then try one of your Tanks again. I'd only suggest a few drops to start with, say 4/5 in a couple of ml and shake vigorously to mix. This might just adjust the viscosity enough to allow the Tank to work a little better. If this has already been suggested and tried please accept my apologies, haven't been in (or active in) the various forums for some while up till about the last week or so.

:)Thanks Testab :-*I have actually added some vodka,to a pure PG mix at 36mg.I added more flavour than i usually ever would to.I beleived it may work, but no difference whatsoever ???I think its a combination of the juice not wicking properly,or quick enough, and a bad atty to run the tank.Although,in all fairness,i am used to LRs,so find any standard atty rubbish, unless at 5v.Its just the lack of flavour that is bugging me.How can a juice packed full of flavour be reduced to no flavour at all ???It tastes and works brilliant in my cartos and LR901s.VERY confusing this tank, ive ditched it now and sold my attys. It was no better at 5v on the 101.No flavour whatsoever. I do appreciate,it works for alot of people, but not me.I wont slag it off,but will await a better atty/tank design.

I'm like Wot, it's the clouds a vapour and a bit of taste that work for me . . . 18mg or 24mg tops in strength . . . I'm in awe of Ian and others that can vape 36mg, I'd be off my head. Yet, I chain smoked whenever I possibly could.

So far I've mainly been vaping the super strength , but have decided to give less nicotine a try & see how it goes. I won't be able to vape low strengths on a morning tho' & I'm not even going to attempt it

Its the only way i can stick with vaping Perpy. In the end,i was smoking 80 rollies a day I found normal cigarettes not strong enough,so went on the rollies.I was a terrible chain smoker for about 10 years. After 7months vaping, all the tobacco withdrawal symptons have gone, which is excellent. However,i still need a real strong throat hit to keep me vaping.I can fill the room with vapour, but without throat hit,i am not at all satisfied. ???I hope that i can get past this eventually, though its proving extremely hard :)I would not care if there was no vapour at all and just a real harsh throat punch every drag.I know,i am strange

Sounds as if the Tanks proved rather a disappointment all round for you, Ian - shame. Hope you have better luck with the SmartCarts, whose thread I have now spotted! More kit to yearn for...!!
I'm basing my thoughts about increased VG proportions not only on observation but also some hard info; I was talking with Jasmin at OKS recently and she mentioned having an ingredient list and kindly sent me a copy.
It proved to be for the Marlboro flavour and shows PG> 55%, Glycerol (VG) <30%, Pure Water <4%. This, combined with the fact that some liquids now appear thicker (to me) and produce pretty dense vapour, makes me suspect that juices which I'd assumed were principally PG may well contain more VG than they used to.
For comparison, I managed to find a relatively recent TW box from the 50% sale period last year which shows PG >65%, Glycerol <20%, Pure Water <10%.
