Hello All, Probably jumping the gun here as I don't yet know if all the options are possible but... on your 'ideal' box mod, where do you think the button should be? Choose a first, second and third choice position or comment if you think it should be elsewhere. Sean

Even though I'm right handed I tend to use my ecigs in my left hand, so N, F & E would be my choice Sean . . . and a decent size button would be lubberly.

The Reo Grand looks awesome. Now! Button placement!!! ??? I can't comply with your request for 1, 2, 3, but I will say: R/D/E/F - or the equivalent positions on the underside. That way the button would be naturally accessible to right-hand index finger or thumb. The button would have to require NO pressure to operate, therefore should be lockable; and it should be very fat and flat-surfaced (not domed to any great extent). Position N - I can see that that might be get-used-to-able, but it would require me to hold at an "abnormal" angle - which I wouldn't object to. Similarly, K/L/M and O/P/Q. The nature of the button is crucial to me - I can't abide the little white plastic ones on Tornegorivas, they require too much pressure and are too small; and dear Garry Dibley's are too thin, their saving grace is that they are very easy to depress. scylla-sissy-fingers PS - Perpy, I'm left-handed and use my e-cig in the right

They're so similar as makes no difference to my untutored eyes, and they both look pretty good to me Congratulations on finding them. I have no idea of the proportions - whether they'd be too deep? Don't laugh scylla

Love the look of both those buttons, black would be perfect too. Daft question from me . . . if these far more user friendly buttons are readily available and work , why do some modders insist on using weeny, little spiky things . . . is it a cost thing?

LOL my thoughts excactly , ive read some well established modders state its because of "cost" but that just doesnt make sense to me ? with those low profile buttons if you buy 25 there 27p each !!! now thats not alot to add to lets say £14.99 is it , ive got a gd boxmod v1 and hate the button , and its the only negative thing ive ever read that other peeps state about the boxmods , now 27p to make all good and 100% happy , doesnt seem to be alot does it but what do i know !!!

I'm a "bottom button man" when it comes to "tubes", the only box I have is my FistPack and the button on that is on the top by the atty connector (position "N") - for me it works really well (thumb operated) but I suspect is highly dependent on the dimensions of the box.

but I suspect is highly dependent on the dimensions of the box. Im sure thats not the case as ive seen the standard boxmods with the low profile buttons , also seen prototype boxmod from a modder with the LP button , and peeps were happy to see it , but then the modder stated it was only on the prototype and wont be on the production model because of cost ? Could be 2 things (1) they have hundreds of the pointy hurty buttons , from when they started modding ? (2) Could be the cost of postage , a !s i just tried to buy 5 LP buttons and P&P was £6.95 ouch , so that was a no no for me , so that would come into the cost element , especially if they can buy the PH buttons from a shop , so no postage at all !
