IMO what I would and have had to :-[ is keep phoning the police out, they get soooooo fed up that they will sort it out, I now this, like I said through personal experiences, good luck hisse i now its a real s--t but there is light at the end of the tunnel, make yourself a real pest with both the police and the council and NEVER get fobbed off, if you don't like what the authorities are saying to you, then stay there until you do! Thanks for the replies. All day I've been expecting my neighbour to knock at my door & ask if I knew who called the Police. So far, she hasn't been to my house. To be honest, I really don't think I could bare to talk to her at the moment as I'm so tired & worked up. Haven't been able to relax all day & then to top it off, some teenagers who were playing football somehow managed to hit the rear end of my car with the football. Argghhhhhhh

Thanks apache.
The issue is made worse by the fact I'm not very well either at the moment. Hopefully, another property will come up soon & I'll be able to move.

Hissie, so sorry that this is happening I have an idea of what you're going through. I have to agree with what Scylla & Perpy say, you really need to get the council involved (or if you have one, the landlord too)- every time you call the noise deptartment it should be properly logged for future reference. It's so not right that you should have to move to escape these morons. xx

Well just goes to show how loud my neighbour has actually been...I could hear them clearly & have just found out I need a hearing aid. So, even with my deafness, I could still hear them.

O wot a lovely hug, Chrissie - Hissie I hope it makes you feel a teeny bit better After both I and my stepmum told Bro he was hard of hearing he got tested - they said he was normal for his age, which means I have to carry on putting up with him not hearing the washing machine ping, the door buzzer, etc, most irritating and inconvenient scylla

Council are sending out a letter to the neighbour regarding noise levels.
However, I feel strangely guilty for kicking up a fuss...how stupid is that?

Sorry to hear about your troubles! I had the same problem a few years ago with my adjoining idiot playing rap crap all night. I put Bat out of hell on repeat at the loudest volume every time I left the house. It didn't take long before I was yelled at! I just said that I would continue to do it until he turned his rap crap down or off at 9 pm. At first he turned it up and continued for 2 more days! So I went to my friends house for a long weekend and after that no probs! There is always a way of getting under someones skin, even the most rude and ill mannered Get your thinking cap on, and be devious
