Sweet taste mystery.

Does anyone else experience a rather annoying sweet taste in their mouth when vaping?

I have this extremely sweet lingering mainly on my tongue. It is pretty unpleasant to be honest. Even drinking water to rinse my mouth out the sweetness is still there.

Dont know so much about sweet taste,but some fluids leave a residue,it kinda clings to your teeth and the car windscreen

It's not residue, more like as if I'm eating those sour sweets.

I get that with the tobacco type juices but not with any sweet flavoured juice ???

It's usually caused by vg, have you tried using pure pg juice?

I use 100% vg since I started vaping & have never had this problem before.

Haven't been able to get on with pg based juices, it doesn't agree with my asthma unfortunately.

I get that sort of thing often and thought it was just me being a bit wierder than usual! I think of it a kind of sweet and sour apple taste and it taints the taste of the next different juice I pick up.

Yeah that's the kind of taste it is. Never ever noticed it before until now & I've been vaping for a couple of years now.

meeee..I find it really not very pleasant experience because at the moment it's there constantly.

I've had it for about an hour tonight and it's only HOOGE buckets of KOFFEE that is keeping me sane, and awake!

If it is something that has come on recently I suspect your taste buds are messing you about.

Or getting a cold maybe?

Whatever, the only thing I can think of is to try adding a little bitter wizard to your juice.

Hissie, have you changed any medication lately?

since being on different tablets my taste buds are terrible, there only seems to be a few juices I can vape without the taste making me feel sick

I used to get a nasty after taste when using mixed berry from TW patriot range

It could be the Stevia or Ethyl Maltol, I personally don't get with saccharine as it leaves a sweet taste in my mouth that is hard to shift so I avoid it. I guess the thing to do is to see which juices give you the taste and ask the Vendor what sweetener is used in them.

No karma my meds are still the same. They did get upped a few weeks back, however, they are back to the same strength.

I'll ask James if he has recently changed the sweetener he uses as I only buy my juices from him.
